I use to jungle a lot and constantly flamed and reported for (at the time not understanding anything about waves). Over the past 2-3 years of playing league I've really started to understand wave states especially since I am mainly playing ADC now and just passively watching playing yuumi to m7. While I enjoy junglers I can't stand the role now because of people but I feel it is so important for Laners to learn Jungle even just the baseline fundementals because even I as someone who understood in the moment why I would shove a laners wave (when i was watching these jungle videos a lot) I still forget sometimes and scream in coms wtf is my jungler doing... only for my toplane friend to say "Bro hes resetting your wave" for my dumbass to realise XD It's a struggle but learning all the roles really gives you a better perspective on everyone elses game! 9:23 That was really eye-opening. I have stopped playing league because I was feeling I was playing it wrong. I always thought of League as an early game type of game, where you get advantage, keep the advantage or snowball and win the game. Time and time again I had game where I was demolishing being 5/0 or more and, by one mistake, game was again balanced. It was really frustrating to know you could do 10 advantages in the game and get it thrown away by one mistake. But, yeah, I was a bit lazy to look up each exp advantage (gold I already had a good sense on what it was). I usually get the most gold out of my team despite being jungle (which makes that my strenght in the game is good, but I need to convert this strenght into impact, or else all this gold and strenght goes to waste). But, yeah, knowing that kills can be up to 9 times as valuable in the late game goes to show jungle camps can be worthless in comparison. Which helps my mentality where I was undecisive if I go help my teammates or farm camps. Although it has a bit of consistent amount of gold, the implications on exp and general state of the game changes dramatically in team fights while jungle camps.... not so much. Anyway, I hope I can make good use of this information and ignore camps if they are not as worthy as you progress in the game. Thanks a lot skill capped!

Regarding fixing lanes as the jungler: Yesterday I had a jungle game where I helped my toplaner get first blood. He then immediately got cocky and lost his lead to the enemy Sett. a few videos back, you said exactly the oposite about the "pyramid skill" thing. that its not really a pyramid but like a funnel, like everything up to master is very little things you learn, and n order to go to challenger you have to learn a shitton of things
@raphaelnej83872 жыл бұрын
this is the same thing The essential of your gameplay relies on very few concepts, especially in low elo. But in higher elo, there are many more layers, tiny variations and technicalities that are numerous, but more that needed to compete with the best players.

It just depends on how you look at it. As a pyramid, the bottom can show how many people can play there with their lvl of knowledge. Meaning that less and less people can get to the top of the pyramid because there are less people that know what to do in that situation. If you look at it as a funnel tho, it’s still the same but reversed in how you look at it. At the bottom is how much knowledge is commonly known in this elo and how much more knowledge you can/have to get in order to climb to higher ranks.

Swapping my stuff to jungle right. I used to play a split pusher and constantly would threaten to end the game if they didn’t answer me. It’s just what I did. Going for jungle role has been crazy. I’ve gotten losing lanes to win lane, I’ve been 12/1 with double rift and all dragons and still end up losing because it just takes too long for the laners to figure out how to end. For jungle I like to play divers. I’m usually up, a lot. Their jungle is usually useless. I’ve never been in a position really where I watch everyone win, and do nothing with in. Going from top to jungle has been a very hard climb.

@lawrencefishbourne55002 жыл бұрын
The forced gank was to stop a slow push back to the enemy. (For what a slow push is/looks like check the 2nd video released after this one.) Sej was chunked more than her laner so was softly losing lane. Depending on the matchup the enemy laner could tower dive or look to freeze the wave on their side after the slow push rebounds. The gank was to clear the wave and set the lane back to a neutral wave state while also allowing sej to base and buy/heal. If sej was still behind after returning the wave would slow push to sej with a much lower chance of sej getting tower dove.

The main thing is to control the wave optimally when your jungler is in the area. If you need dragon pressure you want to crash a huge wave right as you start drag. If you want a gank you should pull the wave a bit before they get there, or alternatively push for a dive. If the enemy jungler is in the area you want to pull the wave, or if not possible fast push and leave.

Mastering already hard things can be a minority compared to all the basic stuff a Silver needs to learn as from CSing to pathing ect. If you were to put a new player to the game and tried to teach him a bit from every aspect of the game there would be more to learn in 'quantity' than if you told a GM to master certain skills to be perfect. As a jungler I'd rly like signals for that tbh. When I try to do things on a wave like holding it or crashing it. I always get question mark pinged if I try anything.

First, if your low elo do every single game: /mute all Second, if your a jungle main and want to learn, watch virkayu, not this channel. This video isnt that great, right at the start they tell you to steal your top waves, thats griefing.. If GP is behind, he will be even more now and will get dove unless your always there. It depends on the game but its almost always really bad unless youve like a malphite that cant stay in lane, so you can push for him to roam directly bot or mid from base but this wont ever happen in solo q. Now what you can and should do is help a laner push after a kill so the enemy loses xp and gold or if your laner needs to base because is vulnerable to get killed. You can take the minions if you think you scale better but the idea here is xp sharing not straight up stealing.

I'm struggling to get to gold and I wonder: how much time does one need to get each elo, starting from bronze?
@Chraan Жыл бұрын
You can acquire the skills within a year, starting from zero. To learn the most spend as much time watching the replay of your own solo ranked games as you spend playing them. You learn fastest by making and understanding mistakes, but often you don't see the mistakes during play. Keep in mind to use the fog of war feature too to understand everyone's decisions.

Yea, did all this shit. We were 11-0. I was 4-0 with Xin Zhao, and I ganked all my lanes and they were all successful. All of a sudden, my top laner died 3 times back to back. Started flaming me for not coming back top while we have a lead, even though I was playing around Dragon and my bot lane. Then he just starts flaming. Bot lane starts typing to him to shut the hell up. Then they start dying lol. Oh, and my mid laner was playing farm simulator. He was 1-0-1. He had 2KP at 30 minutes. Not sure what else I could've done. Even when I gank, and we're winning, I still get flamed. Anyway, we lost the game from an 11 kill lead.

I think if you dont do this you are actually trolling. Your laner doesnt get behind because the enemy laner literally doesnt get anything for it as well. Its free gold and exp.
@julianthegreat49952 жыл бұрын
@TTT M4rt1n Your laner gets behind in general, is losing advantages that would help in the future, even more a gangplank, wants to collect coins and always be ahead. The only argument you can give to do something like that is: "The laner is a monkey". If you cant carry the game by yourself it is trolling. Edit (rewatched the clip): The wave is frozen in middle of lane, top laner on the way, enemy top laner dead, dragon up. If your strong just go secure dragon.

What rank do you guys consider decent? Is is d2 and above is enough to be consider as a good rank?
@crisrodriguez56932 жыл бұрын
That depends on what is good enough for you. If you ask them, well... I've heard Hector say grandmaster is low elo, lol. He has his reasons though
@poisonvolkswagon94312 жыл бұрын
Depends on role. Support is notoriously elo inflated so a d2 top laner is better than a d2 support. I would argue than jungle is too inflated especially with certain champs

1- if you seea tower near you attacking. protect tower before taking camps 2- dont do gank before level 3 3- if you see enemy is middle of corridor, instead of taking gromp etc, attack the enemy if you are higher level 4-after level 10-13, only take blue and red buff dragon etc. 5- fix the waves if your team mate dies 6- always roam inside of jungle. dont go jungle from any corridor
