Hi! I'm a silver player who's been playing around 6 months now, and one thing I think you aren't aware that we silvers don't know is when different champions are strong. For example, in this video, you talk about Viktor having a weak early game compared to Ahri, which I just didn't know in the first place. And as useful as that is now, when I hop into solo queue and go up against an Akali or LeBlanc, I don't know when they're strongest and therefore do not know when to employ these wave-controlling strategies. It would be really helpful if you created a guide that briefly details the level (and item) power spikes of each champion in the game, or at least the most common midlanders and toplaners! Love every second of your content, and thanks so much if you've read this far :)

U probably know that by now but for the future, as a general rule of thumb. Most assassins are strong early and if you and your team don't feed them they will struggle in the mid and endgame. Most mages struggle early but will be very strong later, adc and immobile hyper carries(jinx, kayle, kog maw) are extremely weak early, very strong late, but also 70% of thier success depends on thier team protecting them. Tanks are very strong early due to high base damage on thier abilities but thier damage falls of later in exchange for tank stats, they also have very low mana. Bruisers are a mixed bag, renekton is strong early and deacent late, while camille is deacent early and strong late. Supports ussualy are there to provide utility but some, like soraka, pyke, brand are a priority to kill because they are game changing. Unfortunately since meta is very volotile in season 11 so everything is subject to change. Hopefully we don't get tank meta any time soon bc its boring as all fuck.

I always check my champ and enemy in mobalytics as the site tells u what stage of the game the champ is strongest! But of course a lot comes from experience, just try to play as many champs in Ur role as possible and it'll become easier to figure out :)

Either way when he was 0/3 we said we don't care he's losing/feeding,just farm and try not to die but he ran it down for some reason. Only when he saw we had a chance he stopped running it down but it was too late

His name is Super Bubbles on the EU West Sever. From looking at his op.gg few things I have found that should be highlighted ontop of these vidoes. 1: Using really only 2 champions (ahri and ori) and the occasional (talon/lucian) is truly helping him climb in multiple departments. 2: The amount of gold he is getting (csing, assists, etc.) is greater than the gold he is giving (not denying, not being killed, etc.). Partially due to only playing a few champions, the guides etc. 3: The important part: the gold he is getting is being used optimally 60 percent of the time. Thus, his gold advantages are amplified that much more. example: there was an ahri game he went 2-4-10 but he built full AP Pen this is because his team had 3 ap champions; therefore, the enemy team opt to purchase MR, thus making him do ultimately more damage than if he opted for strict ap (he was also somewhat behind) which then led the jungle graves to carry since no one built armor. And this seems to be consistent throughout his games; either he is aware or not, but he his building against what the enemy should be doing to optimally output damage and his team is able to take advantage of that. Side note, I think his use or glacial augment vs electrocute on ahri can be fine tuned when it comes to the drafting phase.

I have a question: you say generally after level 7 freezing is not good. In the Toplane however I really like to freeze when I got a few kills (I main fiora) so I can push my enemy completely off the wave and even deny some exp. Whenever my opponent gets bored (recall) or feels like he has to go help someone I just follow if I can. After the play I can just come back to my frozen lane and decide what to do. Obviously I could also just crash the wave if needed. I feel like this is very effective even after lvl 7. opinions?

Simply listening is always a little bit difficult for me to follow, so I have to ask- is there an easier way to discern the lane state in order to tell what sort of pushing strategy will happen naturally? What I find most difficult for me is knowing both what actions I need to take plus what the state of the wave currently is. I know that summing up something like this isn’t simple, but any guide I see gives the same advice but I never quite leave feeling like I understand what scenario I’m even able to do certain things

if you only want to know whether a wave will do something without intervention, counting minions will help you see where the wave will push to. the even minion rule (waves are even on one side -> soon pushing to opposite side) is helpful to tell whether you can set up a freeze / should push / can push in vague situations. I'm struggling with recalling while leaving a wave without clearing it (to return to a wave still pushing to me but not crashed at tower) because i'm not confident in telling how fast a wave will slow push to my side

Hello, can someone tell me how to do a slow push specifically? In the video it says: "pushing slow", but what does pushing slow mean? Just getting the last hit while the enemy hits the minions a little harder? But what if they both hit only the last hit? The wave stays in the middle ... I don't understand well ... Slow push is setting up a large wave for multiple reasons but all I could think of right now is tower diving For instance, a couple of days ago I won 2 trades against pantheon as Zed and he is low hp and still laning (bad move from them) that's when you set up a slow push. I could easily kill him with my passive. But I didn't for the following reasons: When you slow push, you last hit minions and punish your opponent whenever they get near the minions (he misses exp that way). If they don't recall.. a slow push will build a huge minion wave that's ready to defend you when you tower dive or when the jungler appears. They deal a huge damage, you gain a level advanyage and at the same time if you kill him that huge wave is a missed cs. So what that did is I gained 2 levels advantage and 500 gold lead at the first 6 minutes of the game. I dominated the lane

Speaking of freezing. I remembered a game where I denied the Yasuo top EVERY WAVE after he gets to level 5. I was using Tahm Kench and whenever my Q went up, I go for an aggressive trade far from the minions so I don't get aggro. Game went for like the yasuo level 5 when I'm level 9. He tilted and went mid. The mid went top, Akali level 7, died and did not level up until I am at level 11. My team was snowballing so hard that I decided to just freeze the lane whole game. Whenever Yasuo or Akali goes out of lane, immediately fast push to deny experience while roaming to jungle (Normally, if you're freezing hard, opponent goes to jungle which then you can get a cheese kill because they take too much damage from not having jungle item. Specially before first full item.)

it depends, you don't just hope the jungle will gank, think about if u can freeze the wave and how long it takes. Think, will my jungle be on top side to gank and deny they wave from garden? If its a yes then do it, if not then it's fine just clearing the wave at a similar speed.

No: -Botlane is longer do you can punish overextended enemies more easily -There isn't a lot roaming champions in botlane(like talon in video) and they can only pressure mid. - A lot of champions get a lot more kill pressure since 6lvl, like ashe, ezreal, lux, pyke Cons are that u won't have prio for river fights or drakes and also u rarely will be able to hold freeze against two people, bcs your support will be clueless about situation. So it's jest to hold freeze at top(also bcs you have tp, so if you die you won't lose a lot of exp) Hope that helps, I'm only g1 player so I may be wrong

I have a question: What is the best thing to do if you fall behind in lane? I find it really hard to keep up and find comebacks when I lose the lane. As an example, because that recently happened to me: The enemy Fizz barely killed me (Neeko) 2 times in laning phase so that he could Solo dive me and deny me a ton of cs. What can I do to prevent that?

Just don't die. 1) Farm melees with autoattacks 2) Depending on how behind you are auto+q casters or auto one caster twice and another one once, then q to kill all 3 3) Use ur e when he jumps with q(he can't e or dodge in any way during q animation) 4) Throw your w towards travelling shark to prevent it from hitting u 5) It you get hit by r time your ult to negate his knock-up and get shield when he would like to burst you making sure u get 100% value from shield 6) Buy mercs as you don't need ap pen. 7) Let him roam, if you try to follow he'll kill you, ping ur team. Neeko is good at taking turret plates so if he doesn't get kill you will be in a much better situation. 8) If he doesnt int its hard to gank him, so tell ur jungler to snowball other lanes 9) You generally want to group as neeko, especially if you have ur flash+zhonyas and glp completed, while fizz wants to assasinate single targets 10) Remember exp is most important, if it's too risky to take some cs just don't try it

There are appears to be champions that break the rules. If I play vs darius i can't really slow push because he can clear the wave incredibly fast and dish out so much dmg from abilities without aggroing minions + a larger wave only makes his q heal him even more.

Renekton is an early gsme top laner, he falls off once everyone has the same items, when you get a lead, you should be looking to crack the game wide open and get your opponents to ff.

You don’t automatically win the game by freezing all game. You freeze to deny CS for a while and then hardshove to help your team. They said in the video don’t freeze after level 7 anyways.

As a support player, are you using your gold item efficiently when on CD? And not allowing yourself to be sitting on multiple stacks As a melee support, are you last hitting only cannon and melee minions to maximize gold when not shoving? Are you sweeping in the right places to get gold from enemy wards? These are "CS ing" things for support or in other words getting gold.

Your statement is false. If that was true, then every support player would be in the elo you are currently at. That being said, does it hurt your odds if a player is not playing optimally, yes. Does it hurt your odds if you are not being proactive, yes. Are you doomed to fail and have no hope in winning, no. Therefore, my point was for you to get gold in the most optimal way you as a support player can. I dont care about your teammates you have. I care about you, since you are going to be in everyone one of YOUR games. But going off your point, optimize your gold through the passive item. And if adc roams, figure out if roaming with him is best option or you yourself cs then under tower to ever improve your odds. May the odds be ever in your favor.

as sup main you just farm champions ;) Im a diamond sup main and my team is paying taxes for getting carried - basically i take on average 1cs per wave (after first back, not to mention the cs from golditem) I reduce my pinkward buys to a minimum and place them in spots where they survive longer then average. Im only playing lethality champions to abuse the item passive for vision. Im playing Zombie Ward to add some vision for free. I use my automatically lead from that to buy dmg items to 1v1 enemys ad over and over after laning phase. If the enemys ad has a brain - just go for 2v1 mid over and over ;) GZ- you reached diamond with half of a brain :D

Guides like this are important, but you don't explain very well how to set up slow push or a freeze. It's unclear how you need to address the enemy minions for each one; for a slow push- do I hit some of the minions once only to make them weaker than mine? Do I only last hit? for a freeze- do I attack them? Only last hit? Do I kill only some of them and let the rest die to my minions? Keep making videos like this but describe the methods better.

Lol really needs to update their in- game tutorial so it teaches these strategies. It needs to teach all of the roles and how to control lanes. Practice tool needs to give advice on what each role does and offer advice and direction on how to use these techniques.

You really brushed over freezing on assassins. If you play properly on any assassin and get a lead, freezing vs an immobile mage or a behind assassin will let you oneshot them with no counterplay if they walk up to break the freeze or grab cs. For example when I play fizz vs orianna I can freeze at 6 with a kill lead and as soon as they q the wave to break it, I q r in and they're dead with nothing to do about it. This is where freezing is insane in low elo because people don't understand that you should be roaming and always contest every cs even when behind. If they do roam you can follow it because you can afford to miss some cs as assassins scale better with less gold, especially with a lead. There is some nuance to it

Oriana it's so safe to play, if you dont have over 3 kda then is not that you are not smurfing is that you play bad. It's almost the same thing as a Janna. All Janna players and Oriana have good kda because she is safe to play. I'm playing jungler and my top pick has almost 4 kda and i have to be in all lanes i have to fight over objectives i have to fight enemy jungler and also i have to engage most of the time and im Gold and im not smurfig. Stop bashing people just because you guys cant play your champ and have a bad Kda.

Platinum give too much importance to CS that they start forgetting about the macro play.Sometimes giving a CS is way more worth it, especially when you’re gonna get a major advantage in trade and you have a lane disadvantage and many more. They think CS is the major part of wave management when there is a lot of mechanics and different patterns going around and behind it. I personally prefer to lose some a cs instead of some chunk of hp as both of them are resource to me and this trade seems far more viable.
