The band wouldn't work without any of them- crazy frontman with a fun personality, great voice and songwriting talent; his wife, the essential production dudette and co-songwriter playing keys and rhythm guitar; the lead guitarist bringing those killer solos which are sadly lacking in today's rock world; and the drummer bringing the angelic backing vocals and mega drumming.

When I saw Skillet in concert it was the best day of my life. I actually cried 3 times during it because they have helped me though so much. Ive also been listening to them ever since I was born. At the concert I touched John's arm, on his tattoo that says saved

When it got to the part of the whole arena singing Stars along with the band, tears formed in my eyes. Of all the Skillet songs I've ever heard, Stars is my favourite. It leads me into worship every time, and to hear so many people singing such a beautiful and vulnerable song...it's literally awesome

I seriously wish I could of made it to your show in Portland, OR. I unfortunately had a sinus surgery 4 days before the show. I was really bummed. But you guys are awesome! By far my favorite band! I see the power of Christ flow through all of you. I'm a counselor at a church camp called Camp Arrah Wanna. I'm a high school camp counselor. Every single one of my kids, as well as the other counselors, know how much I love your music. I pray that I will get to see you guys in concert one of these days. I went absolutely mental when I saw you guys at Winter Jam. Literally. Everyone around me asked me if I was okay because I was bawling my eyes out from being so happy. The people beside me noticed how excited I was, and they let me get right beside the stage. I cried even more because I couldn't handle the emotions I felt lol. I lost like 2lbs after my performance XD I was singing, screaming, crying, waving my Rise flag, then apologizing to everyone who could not see the actual performance. I met up with Pastor Bobby, and gave him a letter addressed to you guys, but I'm unsure if you all got it. I hope you guys did. If not, its just a thank you letter lol
