Their kids, their call, but you know... Seems like a tough way to grow up, being dragged from city to city, no steady time with school friends in their own age group. Touring is a tough life for adults to handle. I guess it would depend on the details: length of tour, venue quality, time off. More than one way to live I suppose.

TheMasonator777 as someone who worked on the Vans Warped tour for 10 years straight while I had custody of my niece and nephew I can tell you that it is hard. But it is VERY worth it. And they got to experience things that most kids their ages usually don’t. Plus we got enough time off that we could spend time just hanging out. And as for time with their school friends, it’s the same as it would be for any child who is home schooled. You still get to have that time with them. But think of it this way. How many bands do you know that get to spend any time at all with their kids because of being gone so much? Many of them don’t.
