Agreed, they became my favorite in 2012 after losing one of my best friends to suicide. His favorite song was "Hero" and I started listening to it, REALLY listening to it and then more and more of their songs. Just over 2 months later I lost my other best friend to his demons as well. They've helped me maintain my sanity and heal.

Can't exactly have a song like Alien Youth, Earth Invasion, Rippin Me Off, Their Ardent Worship album, the intro into Salvation, and some others be anything other than Christian. But yes, many songs can be interpreted from a non christian point of view, which is why they do stuff in the mainstream as well. I like that about them. Music should be for everyone to enjoy. I've seen them 31 times, been backstage with them, listened to them for 20 years. My comment is directed to the fact they always have a chill song on each album that gets on the Christian radio. (90% Christian radio doesn't play any rock music)

I saw Skillet 4 times this year at Winter Jam. My 21 year old Autistic Son had suicidal thoughts. He tried killing himself a few times. God used Skillets music to set him free. Today I celebrate 12 years with the love of my life and this was the perfect song to listen to waking up with her this morning! I cannot tell you how much I love this song and the timing from God could not be any more perfect! This is just one reason why you are my favorite band. This Song looks amazing and very Catchy and it could definitely be a Christmas gift for me. Skillet is finally back on stage for good just like Three Days Grace, Imagine Dragons and The Wanted which those are incredible but this is one of them.

I can tell just by these three singles that this upcoming album will be masterful. One thing I adore so far is that all three have the vibe where they aren’t something you’d hear at all on all of the other albums, but they’re still to where one would say “Oh yeah, this is definitely something Skillet would make”.
