I mean it makes sense Jen was 18 when she joined. She left her family in England to play with Skillet so Korey kind of took on a motherly or at least big sister like role with Jen. Awake has my most favorite songs (but close with Rise) Unleashed, i have all the songs in my playlist But Rise is my favorite album, in terms of not just the substance but everything as a hole. The vibe, the art, the more gritty feel. It's more cool than the others. Awake and Comatose have a lot of songs i can connect to but Rise just sounds cool. Madness in Me, Circus for a Psycho, Freakshow, Sick of It etc. It's that craziness vibe that i really like, whereas Comatose and Collide (i still need to hear what came before that) feel like teenagers finding their place in life, and Awake about someone looking for answers, feeling he has done bad but can also acomplish good. Unleashed the unitement of spirit and mind, being an unstopable powerhouse. And Victorious is like a demigod. The power of a god but the strugles of a human. Rise has my favorite esthetic of those, but they're all great. And also the new sounds they use are indeed great. nd the transitions between songs are what sells it as best album. Because it's all connected.
