Abby's motivations for killing Joel, while they put her at odds with what we want, is basically the same revenge arc we embark on in order to avenge somebody. Then Ellie, Tommy, and Jesse kill all her friends and the people that were close to her. Taking up the role as antagonist is a divisive storytelling device, but it keeps this from being a dime a dozen revenge arc that we've seen hundreds of times throughout various media.

surprisingly enough, a lot of people tend to survive headshots, the skull is stronger than you think, he was shot with a Berreta M9 which uses 9mm bullets, and the bullet came at an angle, which could have had it easily bounce off. I mean, he still got pretty damn lucky that he was only semi-paralyzed afterwards, but it's very possible. Some of the enemies in the game can actually randomly survive a headshot from smaller calibers

the gameplay is worth it, the story is actually decent if you sit through the entire thing, the problem is the pacing of the Abby story, they make you play as her for 14 hours straight right after a cliffhanger. if the story was structured differently the game would be an 9/10 for me, now it's like a 7

I don’t understand how Tommy is still alive after all his injuries, man got shot in the head and he can still think and do things properly. He also got an arrow to the leg, and got his eye smashed up. If a part 3 comes out, he will most likely be fully recovered. If he can manage all that, he’s definitely Joel’s brother. His durability just might even be higher then Joel’s, even though Joel got a medal bar through his stomach although it’s debatable.

I actually felt really bad when entering the aquarium once more as Abby just to see Alice, Owen and Mel killed. You knew what was coming but seeing them out of Abbys perspective, especially the poor dog, let you realize that Elli is just as bad as a person as she is. That, or at least blinded by her will for revenge

How the hell did tommy survive this head shot? He was severely wounded, how did he make it back to Jackson in this condition??? I don't think Ellie just called an ambulance to save Tommy. He would have bled to death.
