Shattered my hip in a low speed crash 3 yrs ago. Still can't push the limits mentally anymore. At 64 yrs old it's just good to still be able to ride, just slower.

@@user-ru6ff6np6u I'm already bailing at 59. I mostly ride road/gravel now. I pulled the ultimate anti-phil move last year. I cycled up mount washington, then rode back down in a car! (They don't allow you to cycle back down.) Riding up things is so much safer. :)

I cracked a rear TR37 and my buddy has gone through a full set of TR37's, and the failures were weird. We both hit little sharp rocks in the trail, but they cracked our wheels. But we were both running Cushcore. When we talked to Nobl, they suggested we get rid of the Cushcore because the wheel is designed to deal with harsh impacts a certain way and when you add Cushcore into the mix, it changes how the impact spreads itself out over the wheel. I've not been running Cushcore for almost a year now with no issues.

I really enjoy watching your ridingvideos! I changed my setup away from that plow, soft couch, to a more poppy, agile one because i really like what you can do (like you) if you have a bit more pop to hit more hidden gaps and so on. And jumping in generell is easier too... Keep it going mate❤

Phil, do you ever ride a DH specific bike? Something with a dual crown fork? Seems like you are almost exclusively on about 150-160mm fork and more trail/ enduro geometry.

@@Tannervmtb no, I don’t always watch everyone’s videos. I was interested to hear from him how hard he pushes his trail geo/suspension setup, because it seems like it’s further than most people would…and it’s difficult to tell how truly gnarly some trails are on video.

I have Nobl wheels and they will not replace that broken rim for free. You pay 50% as their warranty doesn’t cover rock strikes. This was my experience with them.

noblwheels.com/warranty/ "Sinewave & Dropbar Series Warranty TR32, TR35, TR37, TR41, HR35, CR35, HR45, CR45 Lifetime Warranty: If you manage to break your rims while riding the product’s intended use, we will send you a replacement rim at no charge and you will just have to pay the shipping cost. If you damage your rims because of non-riding circumstances like melting your rims because it was sitting too close to your vehicle’s exhaust on a road trip, or driving into the car park with your bike on your roof, or use of non butted spokes we’ll give you 50% off a replacement. This coverage lasts indefinitely to the original purchaser. If you have repeated warranty incidents we will work to find a product better suited for your needs."
