I think I misinformed you about Pigmento brush. I bought whole "super bundle" pack, it contains all brushes so i didn't know names of the separate packs exactly but I was sure pigmento is in pigments xD I don't know much color theory, i just follow my artist instincts that's why I wasn't sure about this whole idea about tutorial. Many of these CSP tips may be obvious for you but some of you asked about things like how to customize an interface, how to duplicate a canvas, where do i get my brushes and etc. so I decided to show it properly. I hope this video helps someone!

Hi, Emilyena! I just wanted to say that your tutorials and artworks have encourage me to stick with my style rather than focus too much on other styles that I thought were 'better'. As much as I appreciate other tutorials and art styles that consist of smooth types of blending, those never really stuck with me and the style I lean towards is much more akin to yours. Your tutorials help me push my paintings a bit further with their finishing with just one video in one day than I've been trying with other tutorials for months. It's given me major confidence and will continue with more improvements!

Your taste is epic, I love all about it! I especially enjoyed seeing the iterations thru tatoo styles on her neck and torso for a deeper reason than aesthetics: I found myself changing details of my own designs and having intrusive thoughts like "oh look, Im not good because good artists would have done this in just a minute!"/"You see? You don't have imagination because you can't find a design that's satisfying at your third iteration"... I went through a long time of inactivity and recently got back my creative juices because I remembered to simply enjoy and love the process ( Basically remember why I started when I was a kid ). This is my personal experience and I don't want to talk for anybody else, but I feel many people have similar problems, so thank you for inspiring people and for the incredible art and informative video 🖤 (Im wondering how it feels to still get notifications from videos you uploaded 3y ago! Loved watching this.

I notice that most of the art creators are giving disclaimers about how their tutorial is not the right way to draw, I mean it is your style of drawing and others have their own style. It doesn't mean that your way of creating art is wrong you just have a different style and 81k people are liking the way how you create art and I'm one of them.

Hey, I'm not expecting you to read this but I still feel like typing it down. I've been going through a really shitty year and life problems just seem like they're never gonna end. I draw whenever I can to distract myself and to work towards becoming a decent artist eventually. I love your style, the music and the little bits of humour you throw in there and watching this tutorial while trying to work on my own work has been cheering me up a lot these days. I like the fact that you mention that you don't know where the shadows have to go (despite you nailing it naturally). As obvious as it sounds, I feel these tutorials are in a way comforting cause they show that it's nothing too complicated when it comes to drawing and it's all a question of time and practice (duh!). Would love to see more tutorials eventually, you're my favourite artist and I hope I can reach your level someday :) Keep up the great work!

OMG so polite and inspiring, thank you very much for this video, you are a great reference for me! I hope one day to reach that level! I love drawing portraits a lot, but I know it's my comfort zone, sometimes I cover myself and I feel kind of "shit" for not varying the poses and drawing full body characters.
@Emilyena4 жыл бұрын
thank you! sometimes I do the same shit but I think it's not bad to draw portraits only. If you like it why can't you just do it? Also, employers will give you work with something you good at - portraits! I feel uncomfortable when clients need full body illustrations, sometimes I think this is because it isn't my comfort zone, but sometimes I think I just don't like it(or I'm too lazy). We can learn it through practicing and searching, mb when we become a pro at illustrations, that will be our comfort zone too. Something like this happened with me and lineart, I had to draw lineart at work and after 15-20 characters I feel like it's the easiest thing for me xD So don't blame yourself, just do whenever you want!
@jonataoliveira64874 жыл бұрын
@@Emilyena Thank you! I really like to draw portraits, but I also want to study more anatomy to feel "complete" (??) hahahaha. I charge myself sometimes for still using lineart, I would like to try some paintings without lineart, but I think that is already part of me ... Hello, I am French and I apologize if my English is bad or strange. Thank you for your indulgence. Thanks for the tutorial, I spent a lot of time observing your speed paint to understand and learn clip studio which is new to me. Fortunately for me that the tutorial is subtitled because I do not understand English, to my great regret. But written, I can understand so thank you again. For colors, there are plenty of books on the subject and there are plenty of examples on the internet. If you want, I can cite a few books that I own or read that are interesting and site links dedicated to that, like adobe color. I was also wondering, if you don't mind, of course, when I would feel able to reproduce one of your drawings. If I can post it or not? If so, I obviously put the link from the original. You can say no, I understand there is no problem. I wish you a good contination.
