Vitamin D3 orally at 5,000 units/day, as well as topically. Research had an 80% success rate in clinical trials. I put my husband on 2,000 units/day orally and his seborrheic keratoses shrank and fell off in 2 weeks. The one on my face was more stubborn; I take 5,000 units but it didn't budge, so I cut a capsule open and applied the fluid daily. Within a few days, the growth started to crumble off. After two more weeks, I have nothing there but a slightly pink spot of new skin.

Would've been a lot more helpful if you'd shown pics of SKs. People have great difficulty and fear discerning what may be a cancerous growth and a benign SK. A pic would ease and help many people's concerns.

I googled this and it says it is no longer avaiilable in usa. I will just ask the dermatologist how much it can be removed. But the other clinics are doing cautery, I am not sure if that works since cautery has tiny needle and keratosis is not easy to be removed by a tiny needle. I also worry how am I going to put antibiotic ointments and creams if it is on my back. It is hard to take care of it if it's at the back. I hate my mom and dads for giving me so much issues, my mom gave me acne, my dad gave me ashtma and allergies. I hope I don't get my dads vitiligo. All I get as inheritance is tons of diseases. Next thing I know is hypertention and maybe cancer since I have 3 relatives with cancer. The bad part is of all the things I can have i got all bad things from them and I didn't get good parts. Like my nose is from my dads side my grandpas ugly nose. BUt my mom has better nose and my grandma so why did I got my ugly grandpas nose. ANd than I got my moms ugly legs and feet, plus I got 50/50 half my body is thin and long half is fat and short. So I feel like I am curse by god coz all I got are the bad parts of all of them. They didn't gave me anything good. 😞

Can't buy Eskata anymore but you can get a jug of 34% peroxide... trying it now, seems to be working on the large one on my head... we will see. Freezing did not work. Dr said I had to 'live' with it..
@SultanaP3 жыл бұрын
Update.. after 2 weeks of using this with a qtip carefully, all of the keratosis is gone! Have used it successfully on other skin issues that do not respond to hydrocortisone or triple antibiotics. Amazing.

@@SultanaP going to try the 34% peroxide. So u personally hD success with this?
@SultanaP3 жыл бұрын
@@fedaiwoldu2054 yes. I had the seborrheic keratosis. I had it frozen but it did not work . It was there and getting worse for over 10 years. Just be careful, a little dab will do ya once and a while. It will bubble up, in a day or so scab up, then the scab will up and fall off. If it comes back, do it again. Mine is completely gone now, and where the skin was bumpy, it's now smooth.

I've had them since ei was a toddler, always hated it. My Dermatologist told me if I have them burned or laser removed it would leave white spots. I've read that ESKATA can cause blindness. I've wanted mine removed forever

Tazorac (active ingredient: Tazarotene) has been shown to be effective against SK, but has been banned here in Australia because it can cause birth defects, so I understand your concerns about some SK treatments. Diclofenac has also shown promise (see the link I posted above). Interestingly, Dicolfenac is the active ingredient in Voltaren, which you can buy without a prescription. I treated a SK on my face with a small blob of Voltaren (the "Osteo Gel" version with 2.3% Dicolfenac) on the centre of my SK twice a day for 5 weeks (allowing it to soak in and dry out for 10-15 minutes), and removed dead surface cells every few days after showering by gently rubbing my finger over it a couple of times, and the SK completely cleared. Note 1: Voltaren also contains isopropyl alcohol (i.e. 'rubbing alcohol'), which will dry out normal skin, so don't be tempted to slather it on. Note 2: I did not see any change for the first 3 weeks - you need to be patient.

Very helpful advice, thank you. Having clear, smooth, glowing skin is so energizing. Maybe five days sounds a tiny bit too exagerated? nevertheless, that is the length of time it typically takes for chicken skin to vanish so long as you stick to what Cybil Lenglore mentions on her site. Just try googlng her.
