Going back through your videos to determine the inwale thickness you used. Can’t seem to find any information. Have my ribs done for the Prospector and intended to make the inwales at 5/8” but they seem to be too thick to bend in sheer. On your Prospector it seems you sized them about that thickness but used a thinner crossection for the outwale. Do you have some suggestions, Please?

You could put a propane torch to the stainless steel to get more heat into the wood if such need arises.

thx, but there is no more heat necessary. the steel-strips are only good for saving the wood-fibres on his place....

You can use the plan of any woodstrip- canoe as you like. The lines are smooth for skin on frame production. The canoe will be about 5cm wider... No problem.

Dietrich Lenk Ich verwende PONAL. Man kann auch mit epoxy kleben, dauert halt länger.

Danke, ich wohne in Brasilien und hier gibt es leider nicht PONAL. Ist das ein Kleber auf PVA Basis? Hier hat Henkel eine Fabrick, aber nicht alle deutsche Produckte!

Dietrich Lenk ok, dann nimm einen Kleber auf Epoxidharz-Basis, der ist dann auf alle Fälle Wasserfest.
