update tho. krave beauty no longer offers a sunscreen because of their updated sunscreen testing. A lot of small brands don't have the money to do extensive spf testing so its not their fault per say
@nujhat4243 жыл бұрын
They were not transparent about testing their sunscreen. For some reason when people asked why the sunscreen hasn’t restocked they claimed that they were changing the packaging.
@nujhat4242 жыл бұрын
@Trinity M sunscreen is very important as a lot of people rely on it to prevent skin cancer and skin damage. Informing their customers that they should hold off on using their sunscreen because they are testing it was the least they could do. It’s just sketchy that they were encouraging people to continue using their SPF when customers were asking if they were testing it. Also, their sunscreen did not pass the test. On their Instagram, they said that their sunscreen was below SPF 50 but could not results their exact results.

@@itgirlinIT Long story short, it was found that there were a lot of sunscreens that did not accurately reflect the SPF rating that was labeled-and Purito was one of those companies. I have never used Purito's sunscreen, but I know that it was a popular item and so a lot of people were upset (and rightfully so!). Purito has since issued an apology, and is actively working towards developing a sunscreen that accurately reflects its SPF protection.

I saw a post on IG reels about how Krave’s SPF isn’t that great? That their SPF claim is not actually as high when it was tested? I haven’t done much research myself but if anyone has, can you let me know if this is true, and if this changes your view on the brand?
@kaina50543 жыл бұрын
From my understanding, the brand was actually very responsible in the matter cuz they sent it themselves to be tested by independent labs when other products were revealed to have lower spf than advertised. The results came back and it wasn’t up to their standards so they pulled the product and offered refunds to ppl who bought it within the last year. The brand is still very trustworthy to me because the spf problem wasn’t them hiding anything or covering anything up, they were direct and upfront. These things happen and had more to do with the manufacturers unfortunately as it happened with many sunscreens by many brands which used similar or same suppliers and manufacturers.
@nujhat4243 жыл бұрын
@@kaina5054 I wish they were more transparent about their testing though😭 When ppl were asking why the product hasn’t restocked they claimed that they were changing their packaging instead of being upfront about their testing. They should’ve told their consumers so we could hold off from using the sunscreen until the results came in

Natirium seems like they have really high quality products but I cannot trust anything Susan at all lol. Especially with her lies that were easily proven false 😂. Paula's choice is really good but the fact they don't pay most of the black models is a big yikes to me 😬. The inkey list literally copied the ordinary (at the time the ordinary was only shipping to Canada and then the states not England), they also have shady practices and bad environment practices (the ordinary is very clear about their sourcing). I don't trust krave anymore and I highly doubt the brands integrity and beet the sun caused my friend to develop squamous cell carcinoma. My friend reached out to the company and it took a year for her to finally recall the product 🙄. 100% agree on glossier, cerave, tatcha, glamglow, MB, and cosrx though. Normally I wouldn't say your bias but this video seemed really bias lol

Personally, inkey list is not worth it since it's more expensive than the ordinary and u get less amount of product than what's marketed. I purchased the Q10 and I went through it in a week when I got the second one I opened it and checked how much product was in there and the bottle was not even halfway filled. It said u get 1 oz of product which after weighing the bitter before and after you don't even get half an ounce it was around 0.3 oz. for that reason I didn't purchase anything else from the brand
