The point you made about using a BHA consistently is so true. I have not seen results from Paula’s Choice 2% BHA until I started using it daily. My skin tolerates it so well I can’t believe I got scared into using it only twice a week.

The Cetaphil gentle clear line is SO underrated. Every product is stellar IMHO 😁

Amazing job reviewing so many products in under 25 minutes! I appreciate why this type of content would be difficult to make all the time obviously, but it is great for being exposed to some new products. Really helpful reviews as well for people to work out if the products would be right for them. Thank you :)

Naturium's retinaldehyde serums are holy grails!!! Also enjoyed using the Inkey List Oat Cleanser but going to try Beauty of Joseon's balm next. Some of my other current faves are Skin 1004's probio-cica toner and Nivea's UV Water Gel.

The second time I ever purchased the oat cleansing balm, it was grainy and I was super confused but I repurchased since I loved it so much the first time I bought it (when it was very new at the time) and since repurchasing for the millionth time now, it has never been grainy or inconsistent. Must have been that ONE “bad” batch once upon time that people are really holding on to hahah

100000% agree with everything you said about the Farmacy cleansing balm. I do not understand the hype lol. my holy grail is the Then I Met You cleansing balm.

Paula's choice has been doing all %ages of aha and bha's ages before natrium was ever even an idea. they have been doing an Antioxidant Pore Purifier for YEARS and has been a hg for me for years. again way before natrium n much better as it has other ingredients than just the sa.
@voicedbird10 ай бұрын
Agreed. I like Naturium but honestly a lot of their products are basically cheaper paula's choice with less actives.

Can you do a video on recommendations for sunscreens for teenagers? I’m getting my niece Apple skin care stuff and I definitely wanna add a sunscreen to it. Something lightweight doesn’t feel too heavy and may be a little bit tinted. I love you to make some recommendations for like good sunscreens for teens. But I’m also looking for a sunscreen that she can use as her moisturizer and sunscreen in one just because I want to get her on a simple start and not overwhelm her with too many skin care steps.

I tried the Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm and it was half solid/grainy and half oily/watery. And hard to wash off. So disappointed. I prefer oil-gel cleansers like the Isntree LHA Cleansing Oil.

I had the same experience, and I thought they were all like this and have been confused as to why everyone loves them. I have a hard time wanting to repurchase just because of that- regardless of people saying that’s not the case

You also have to shake the tube really good to make sure it’s mixed up well or the oil can separate. I don’t like the tube packaging. I always cut it open once I think it’s empty and there’s a ton more product.

The Experiment serum broke my face out😢I was sooo sad! I’m assuming glycerin doesn’t work well with me
@debbyd5729 Жыл бұрын
Glycerin is in just about everything skincare so I doubt it was the glycerin in general. But maybe it’s the amount of glycerin that broke out your skin? Or one of the other ingredients?
@al27gusstn99 Жыл бұрын
@@debbyd5729 I think it was the amount of it that broke me out. It has like 30% of it I believe.

please helppp, i used to always use any chemical spf, never had any issues, and i tried 3 drying mineral spfs and damaged my barrier. whilst having a damaged barrier, a chemical spf caused lots of irritation and pimples so i just cut it out to heal it. when i start spf again, should i go back to chemical or look for a hydrating mineral one that won’t dry me out and cause a damaged barrier?
@aurora6763 Жыл бұрын
Please try the Purito Soft Touch sunscreen. Its fragrance free and essential oil free. It has the newer/modern filters. I have sensitive skin and used to use mineral sunscreen however the zinc dried my skin out.

@boi-f2r Жыл бұрын
@@aurora6763 the ones that damaged my skin barrier were the elta md uv physical and uv elements since they were super thick and drying. my skin has never been sensitive to chemical ones but chemical can irritate on damaged barrier but my barrier is almost 90% healed now. would your rec the cetaphil sheer mineral or the purito one?
