Thinking to get into the world of MPCs is the 5000 a good unit to start on ? Or do you think I should go for a newer mpc like an mpc one ? Any advice appreciated great video thanks

my advice is get the mcp one, much more user friendly for someone jumping in. Or if you need to go oldschool get the mpc500 samplekings has a video on that also

Never had an MPC but interested in owning an older one but I'm being told the learning curve would be a bit to much for a beginner. Any opinion on that???

i have the 500, 1000, 2500, 5000 and the x. i love the x the most due to the ease of use and versatility. for me its just to good. as for the old models i found the 5000 the best and easiest to use. of course this is all personal preference

It is a classic Dr. Dre, still uses his and J Dilla would still have his depends on your skill level
