Im on the fence with buying this. I have yet to see anyone sample, for example, say 1 or 2 seconds of a piano or bass from a record. And then assign it to the keys, rather than the pads. So you can have the full range of notes/semitones from the record sample. Not from the sound kits that are included. Do you know if this is possible on this machine?

I can't believe it someone finally gives props to Master Comp. The is also a secrete weapon for me for sure. It can correct problems with mixes that nothing else can because of its stereo Imaging abilities. I found this for longer than I can remember

I think Roger got the first mpc wrong. The drum pads should have been on the right, with all knobs and buttons on the left.

You made a mistake on your intro, you said in 1997 Roger linn created his company. it was 1977

I am complete begginer, can you explain why Maschine or MPC are not fully DAW? Why you "prepare" songs and finish them in other software? Am I able to fully create amateur song, for pure fun in Mashine or MPC?

My MPC Renaissance is my favorite. It’s my studio centerpiece and workhorse. Since I’m always running my MacBook with Logic anyway, I love using the Ren to control the MPC software for my sampling and drum programming alongside Logic. I also have the OG MPC Studio for portability as it’s basically a mini Ren and I still prefer it over the Studio MkII

I applaud your efforts but you can do so much better. For example, the magnifying glass is worse than useless - very confusing and interferes with seeing what is going on. You also need to be more focused and explain each thing you are doing.

This video is so disorganized that it is almost worthless. You can do so much better if you put some work into it. No wonder it has such few views. Come on and redo these with some effort.

I appreciate your effort in doing this series. I suggest you consider redoing the videos. The problem is this: You do not explain each step of what you are doing. Many times you do a task and the viewer has no idea how you did it. If you want to watch some examples of how to do these instructional videos, watch the Reaper Mania videos by Kenny Gioia. best wishes to you.
