Thank you! I am a 68 yr old skin care junkie. I just received the Augustinus Bader Complexion Correction Kit yesterday. Nothing excites me more than trying new skin care . Last night I washed my face and applied the serum & the rich creme. Later my 16 yr old granddaughter came by and ran her fingers down my face, I thought she was wiping something off my face. She said " Your skin looks so glowy and pretty, I had to feel it". Ok, so now I feel better about that price! lol

Oh one more thing: and I am NOT yukking anyone's yum here- remember I, too, am obsessed with AB. But when it comes to the dude with the sensitive microcamera or whatever....Im curious if there was a control? Like....a series of the same kinds of pictures using more basic moisturizers like cerave or a olay or, ykwim? JUST FOR THE SAKE OF SCIENCE.

Yes, to top 3s! My top 3 products are Tretinoin from Agency, Oneskin face supplement and Beauty of Joseon sunscreen. I have heard so many people rave about Dermelect Sleeping serum. I am challenging myself to wait to purchase until I’ve finished with at least one of my lactic acid exfoliators. Glad you are feeling better. 😀

I like these top 3 videos alot. My top three...Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water, Dr. Cerucle Kombacha Essence, Tretinion prescription cream. Oh, and Sunscreen, don't have a current favorite.

Ok. I'm making it 4. Can I do that? Im doing it. 1.) Tretinoin 2.) A super-rich moisturizer. Possibly Augustinius; possibly La Mer, possibly DeliKate. 3.) Either Beauty of Joseon or Jumiso sunscreen. 4.) Pixie Rose cream cleanser Now, if I HAVE to only have 3 I'd ditch the cleanser and use a teeny bit of the moisturizer as a cream cleanser.

I'm also a skin care junkie but wonder how you get your products not to pill? I use about 7-8 products, mostly serums, and find the more I use, the more likely they are to pill. I've changed the order that I use them in but that doesn't work

To be honest, it's isolating which ones are causing the problems. Often mixing products with and without silicons don't play well together. Another thing to try is patting versus rubbing. The easiest way is to cut down on number of products (which I'm personally not doing 😂 ). I tend to only add 1 new product at a time so I can quickly identify the culprit. Often it's sunscreen (which is a killer because I have to take off and start again 😡). Can you claw back your routine and add back in slowly to see?

I've been asked that a few times and while I'd be very keen to try it, I won't be purchasing until they have European distribution. It will cost me a fortune to import into the EU from the US. I have asked the brand the question and they currently don't have any plans.

I do both but not together. Every 4th night I use the serum and skip tret. It works a treat!

Do you use The Rich Cream all year long even in summer? I thought it might be too rich in humid summers.

Personally, I do. You could easily switch to The Cream, but The Rich version is just my preference. Plus, Ireland doesn't get super hot so I don't have to deal with major seasonal changes...

Hi Mary If you use Augustine’s Bader every night is this on top of Retinal , I have 2 bottles and the oil in the drawer and would like to use it but am really enjoying my Medik8 retinal , what does an old bird do 😢

I use both no problem. I do my full skincare routine around 8 or 9pm (Bader is just one of many things, often including oil) and then I use my tretinoin as a last step, about 11pm. I do not use anything on the nights I use Dermelect, but that's because I damaged my skin a good 2 years ago with too many actives, so I'm more cautious than most...

I didn't when I started using it, but after about 6 months, I increased frequency and added my tretinoin back in. However, I wait a good 2-3 hours before applying it.

Like you, I used the Dermelect Self-Esteem and was wowed by it. I ordered more of their products and the two that I am also blown away by are the Bounceback cream and the neck cream. Okay, I am 69 years old and my neck is OLD! Since using this cream, I, sincerely, see a difference in my neck skin. I had given up on my neck. The Bounceback leaves my skin soft and my makeup glides on.

I drop the retinol on the nights I use Dermelect but not Bader. I do my full evening skincare routine around 8 or 9pm and then I apply my tretinoin around 11pm (right before bed). That way I can use it all! But, I might contact contact Dermelect to ask their recommendation for use with retinoids. I did a terrible job on my skin about 2 years ago by overstimulating with too many actives, so I'm on the cautious side...
