This was the best makeup video I’ve seen in a long time. While it’s like therapy watching someone put on their face for the day, I’ve been getting bored with all the steps. Please do more like this using other makeup that you have in your arsenal. I love the tip about Miracle Balm. I’m ordering Magic Hour. Thank you.

I agree, I never touched foundation when I was younger. In my early 40s I thought I would try it (no idea why in hindsight). Now at almost 50 I’m so happy I never used it, I see people 40-60 clinging on to full coverage and it just accentuates all imperfections. I’m incredibly grateful to have never fallen into the foundation and full coverage trap.

All about 5 min 5 products. If one is a 5 min or 5 second makeup girl I HIGHLY recommend the BK Beauty brush Mary is using. Not inexpensive but makes makeup go on beautifully, quickly & flawlessly 😊❤❤❤

Good video. Pen.Smith uses the RMS UnCoverup concealer as her foundation and she says she loves it and people do use it as foundation. What color did you get? I'm thinking of getting color 00, not quite as pale as 000.

I am using the colour 22 and it's perfet. I do think my foundation colour is too light (also 22) so I'm going to go up a tad I think

5 in 5, LOVE IT! 😍 Side note: I too have been struggling with dry flakey skin around my eyes - which is so incredibly frustrating - because my eye area is already my problem area to begin with...arghhhhhh 🤬I have backed off certain products, tried new ones, and have not really been able to fix it... It keeps coming back 😵‍💫I just got some castor oil and am trying it 🤞 Any suggestions?? Thanks Mary ❤

Thanks Jill - glad you liked it! OK....I have NO idea what the eye dry/flakiness is about. It's driving me absolutely crazy. I've taken things out, I've added things in. Can't seem to fix it. I may have to find myself a dermatologist. I can't tell if it's reaction to product or device, if it's allergies, if it's some sort of deficiency. Obviously my skin isn't happy and it's killing me that I can't figure it out. Let's stay in touch...I'd love to know if castor oil helps 🙏

@@SkinObsessedMary OMG, SAME! 'bout to lose my damn mind; I can't figure it out either 😵I just started using the castor oil at night this week. Seems to be helping keep the area moisturized and less flakey, but I don't think it's a "cure." I'm going to give it 30 days and see...Otherwise, I will surrender (as I've tried everything!) and will be marching myself over to a dermatologist. Definitely let me know if you figure it out 🙏😘

@@SkinObsessedMary Ugh, sorry to hear 🫥 No, mine is limited to just the entire surrounding eye area (upper, lower, and corners). One thing I did come across in poking around the interwebs is that sometimes it can be an allergic reaction to nickel in an eyelash curler. I'm gonna stop using my current one and get a plastic one to see if it helps. Girl, I have tried everything to soothe and cure it (Neosporin, vaseline, cortisone eczema cream, oatmeal eczema cream, squalane oil, even lip balm!......Jesus, Mary and all the holy saints it's driving me bonkers! 🤯) So far, the castor oil seems to be the most soothing...Hang in there and be sure and keep me posted 💓

I'm both neutral and warm. I've gone with 22, which is perfect for Uncover Up but 22 in the RMS foundation is too light (if that helps at all)
