Cassie changed so much she used to be so bubbly and carefree despite being really damaged, but now she looks more independent and lonely. She really matured she's purely beautiful.

Skins pure was beautiful. The story line and the characters were amazing. I think that Cassie did get her happy ending. She finally realized she was beautiful and she was finally willing to let go of people that couldn't be in her life forever. She became "Pure"

Cassie will always be my favourite character. Her story made me laugh and cry. Mostly cry. Skins Pure was the most saddest episode to watch since it was the last episodes we would get to see Cassie in. Hannah Murray did an amazing job at portraying Cassie.

Same! "Pure" is indeed a work of art, i think that the 3 soundtracks of Season 8 are gold and represent the final arcs of each character, Pure it's like a melody you hear after enduring so much, like a call of victory, afterall that was Cassie's ending, growing to be finally at peace. Fire is quite strong tho, it gives us a glimpse about Effy's constant chaos, it's too hardcore for me but i hear it sometimes to feel her mindset, like a melody of self destruction.

this music truly captures the more mature, grounded and balanced person cassie became in this season, when she stopped trying to be perfect for sid and all. She stopped trynna live up to be good enough for ppl and worrying about her looks. She became true to herself : the PUREST version of herself

Such a great perspective, i also love Effys "Fire" soundtrack, it's such a message/melody that represents self destruction, a message that was quite present trought Effy's story, the saddest part about it, it is that, for me, Effy always knew that she was destined to self destroy herself, it's a feeling many neurodivergent's have. "Like a train without brakes, destined to move foward until it crashes".

I think the very last season may have been my favorite it’s so serious and more on the mature side it really shows how these loved characters have grown especially Cassie I always loved her but just the way they used her character was amazing sure I was wondering if sid ever found her but she didn’t need him she became her own person I’m glad they gives her the recognition she deserved but they still left me with so many questions and that’s what I loved about this season

they are connected. effy is still friends with naomi from gen 2. cassie has simply grown older and recalls sid throughout her episodes. and being that we know cook has killed someone in this season, we can only infer it was the therapist who killed freddie in gen 2
