After i finally forced myself past episode 5 of gen 3, I realized the characters, and the actors weren't what was wrong with gen 3. It was the writing, and the stories pace. Gen 3 felt like it needed more episodes to develop naturally. At first I hated this intro, but it grew on me and now its one of my favorite skins intros

This generation is similar to the first which is why I like them but the writing wasn’t as good but season 6 has some decent episodes tbf. Second gen is overrated the characters bores me only cook was interesting tbh. Freddie was dull jj was pointless Emily and Katie weren’t that great Naomi was ok panda is shocking and effy is just annoying lmao

I think it would've been better if they did the 3rd generation on freddie's sister (I forgot her name) and her friends that way it could still be connected to the 1st and 2nd generation and we could get some closure on freddies death. Not a completely new generation.

I think I like this generation more than the second one. The first one, obviously is the best, but the second one I think it was a lot of EFFY EFFY EFFY. And I feel that the third one was more real. Idk, just my opinion :*

This was MY gen. I was the same age as them and I loved this theme and the characters. A lot of the original audience were in their mid twenties by the time this came out so it didnt resonate with them like the last two did.

Season 5 felt so different and I didn’t know if I liked it. But then season 6 happened and all the characters were just completely fleshed out and honestly I think S6 has some of the best acting and writing. Especially with grace, rich and mini. Those 3 truly carried

i don't think skins is worth watching after gen 2, i liked gen 2 but not as much as gen 1, gen 1 seems like the root of the show, it's more of a teenager show, gen 2 seems like a chav show because of cook, even though he is the best character and gen 3 just seems american

Beto McKnight I wasn't high, i was drunk though.. But i still stick by what i said. From memory, series 6 was more like 'skins' than 5. And i actually think 7 was good, although it wasn't like typical skins, but i think i enjoyed it because i was familiar and liked the characters.

Prefer season 5’s intro than season 4’s. To me, the third generation lacked 2 things: connection and writing. There was no real connection between gen two and ten three, which lacked continuity and lacked what gem two could bring through pandora and effect (despite Pandora’s original actress being different). The writing was a shambles; the acting was great, plot was there, but the execution by the writing staff was so absolutely atrocious it literally killed the show - they really tried towards the beginning of season 6 but failed so horrifically that it looked like they rushed the ending of it. Personally, the writers killed the show, not gen 3. Season 7 was excellent though, although Cook’s storyline felt empty and lacking, more out of context than mystery; Cassie’s didn’t handle adult issues as such, but was nonetheless a great episode; Effy’s seemed to continue the gen two theme of Effy Effy Effy, which really hurt the show’s storyline in season 4, but still served a great theme and introduction into adult life.

this is when the show didn't feel like skins anymore if you ask me and not one of the actors got two episodes skins pure fire or rise. They weren't bad but it didn't feel like skins skins is about friends and there drama and how they get over it this was about bunch of people that didn't evil necessarily like each other it got better as it went on but with out a direct connection to Effy and her group and back to Tony and the original. They should have inserted a character near the end of season4 to join this group and connect it back to the others. Not Graces dad that's just lazy like saying Uncle Keith connects season 3 instead of Effy

So, i love very much skins but the season 4 was a big huge disaster. Whats the point of Sophia death? And ever Worse WHY THE FUCK FREDDIE HAS TO DIE? he was literally one of the best character on the whole serie, he never left effie still she dont deserved it. I used to love her, now i cant stand her, but really. Freddie's death was really unnencessary and one of baddest choices of the writers in the series, he was too good. and the reaction of Cook was also poor to his death.
