So Aarons defence gives up over 30 points consistently in the playoffs, oh Rodgers needs to do better. Bradys defence gives up 30 points once, its all the defences fault. Hypocrisy much? He ignores the fact that Rodgers should have beaten Seattle in Seattle on a bad calf but the back up tight end dropped the onside kick, oh he didn't play well enough, yet Brady in super bowls against the Giants never scored over 20 points. What about Vinatieri? Never gives him credit for those clutch kicks in the first two super bowls, its all about Brady who gets him into position. Rodgers gets Crosby into position with the greatest throw i have ever seen but no Rodgers needs help to win. Im not saying Rodgers is better than Brady all time because i think Brady is top 2 all time if not the GOAT, but its unfair that Rodgers doesnt get the same affordances as Brady.

In the 2014 NFCC the Packers D gave Rodgers 5 turnovers and he did absolutely nothing with them. Brees, Brady and Manning never lost a playoff game where their team go them more than 2 turnovers let alone 5. Against teams that finish the season with a winning record, Rodgers is 1-37 when trailing by more than a point in the 4th quarter. He is 1-7 in OT games. You're either born with it or you're not. He is a .500 QB on the road. 42% of his wins have come against the Bears, Lions and Vikings. Stop making excuses for A-Fraud

+Peter Kay Many of Rodger's OT losses were a result of him not being able to play on the field since the other team won the coin toss, not to mention that most NFL quarterbacks proabably have terrible records when trailing in the fourth against winning teams. Win-loss records aren't a good indicator of QB clutchness. Here's a stat: Rodgers leads the Packers to a lead into the fourth quarter in 65.6% of all the games he's started. When down by 8 or less points with 5 or less minutes left in the game, Rodgers has a 89.7 passer rating, which is the second highest among all starting quarterbacks since 2008, only behind Eli Manning. Brady, on the other hand, has a 78.3 passer rating.

James Hodges Yes, and then Rodgers scorched the Steelers league leading defense in the next game after that. The packers had a fantastic team around Rodgers in 2010, and they win the super bowl. Then Rodgers takes a 19th ranked defense to a 15-1 record the next season and never plays with a good defense again. Brady has had his defense let him down before, but more often than not his defense helps him a lot. Most of Rodgers play off losses r because his defense let him down.

looks to me all three of them aren't really understanding this bc what's the point of the whole debate? Brady might have had more often better defenses than folks like Peyton or Arod but these dudes had way more often a better receiving cast than Brady had. He had Randy Moss basically two seasons and one season with Cooks (who btw got injured early in that very SB he lost to the Eagles). Gronk unfortunately was way to often injured in the post season so he had to go on multiple SB runs without him. Isn't that part of "the team" too? Rob Parker actually claimed that Nick Foles outplayed Tom Brady, he's absolutely ridiculous. Foles threw for 364 yards with one pick 3 touchdowns and Tom threw for 505 yards 0 picks and 3 touchdowns. Eagles had 2 of the top 10 receivers in the NFL, having 3 of the top 10 receivers in the playoffs and 2 of the top 10 running backs in the playoffs who had a combined 150+ yards rushing. Only ProBowl receiver Tom has is Gronkowski and he's not even a receiver. Then the eagles knocked out our best deep threat in Brandin Cooks. Yet Brady torched the eagles top 10 defense with two undrafted receivers and 2 backups. You're a straight up hater Rob Parker, we had the 23 worst defense in the league and it showed in the Superbowl, Eagles had 5 stops on Brady, Pats had only 1.

No. That isn't how it works. 1 game, or one quarter of a game, is not a measure of who you get compared to or how great you are. Case and point, Nick Foles threw for 7 TDs and 0 INTs in 3 quarters of a game in 2013. This does not make him in a league of his own, despite the historically great game. And Tom Brady has had multiple great defenses. Maybe not great in terms of ALL TIME like the '85 Bears, but great as in top 10. In fact every year he has won the Superbowl, his defense has been top 10. 13 of Brady's 17 years as the starter, that defense has been top 10. So nowhere near average defenses. Rodgers didn't choke in that championship game. In fact Rodgers was the one who got the team into field goal range to tie the game after the defense gave up a fake kick TD and the special teams gave up an onside kick, to send the game to OT. Did he ever touch the ball in OT? Nope. And don't forget, he played that postseason on an injured hamstring. Which offensive weapons do you considered limited? Rob Gronkowski, the guy who is probably going to go down as one of the top 3 tight ends of all time? Or maybe Wes Welker, one of the best slot receivers in the league who caught over 100 passes multiple times in his career? Or even maybe Randy Moss, who was just chosen to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and who is arguably the most talented receiver ever? Also, not average defenses in the slightest, as outlined above. Brady was MVP at 40 thanks to injuries to every other major candidate except Todd Gurley. You can't tell me he would have won had Carson Wentz, Deshaun Watson, Antonio Brown, Aaron Rodgers, or even JJ Watt stayed healthy. 32 TDs, 8 INTs, and just over 4500 yards are not MVP worthy in today's league. Dan Marino carried a mediocre team throughout his entire career. It took 24 years before anyone else in the league would reach 5,000 passing yards, and 20 years before anyone else would surpass his 48 passing touchdowns. He did that in 1984. Dan Marino is one of the best quarterbacks of all time, hampered by unfortunate circumstances in his team. And you do measure greatness by success. Tom Brady is the GOAT because of his longevity, dominance, and rings. But there is a difference between being the Greatest and the Best. Tom Brady is not the best. Not in any category.

The Packers defense has talent Kenny Clark, Mike Daniels, Blake Martinez Clay Matthews Ha Ha Clinton Dix and etc. I just feel as though Dom Capers scheme was old, outdated, and was an extremely predictable defense once teams figured it out. Dom Capers is a great defensive mind he knows the game of football that I am not discrediting. However, Dom's defenses are really really good the first couple of years and then after that they flame out in a major way. And also, Dom's defensive scheme relies on veterans like Sam Shields, Tramon Williams, Charles Woodson and etc. If you don't have veteran guys in that scheme it is not going to be as successful. Now, yes TT did miss badly on some draft picks on defense. But, I still feel like Damarious Randall is gonna be a great player, Blake Martinez balled out this year, Kenny Clark is only going to get better and etc. Mike Pettine has coordinated nothing less than top ten defenses and his scheme while complex is not overly complex. So, I feel like there is plenty of talent on the Packers defense but, they have to start playing better situationally on defense for example getting off the field on 3rd down more frequently, givng up fewer chunk plays, givng up fewer touchdowns in the red zone because the Packers this past season where the only team who would score on their opening drive and then give up points on the other teams opening drive. So, if the defense can get back to being a top ranked defense consistently Aaron Rodgers now has a running game, he has one of the better wide reciever corps in the league, and his o-line should be healthier going into next season. And Aaron Rodgers has a great chance to win at least one or, two more rings. Nothing would make me happier than seeing AAron Rodgers win two more rings while Brady loses his next two apperances in the SB. That would make Skip Bayless sick to his stomach.

Wrong, Rodgers throws a Hair Mary much differently than everyone else. He sky drops it, throws it as high as he can - not just as accurately. So the ball falls straight down in the endzone...and receivers have by far a better chance to catch the ball. Other QBs dont do it this way...because they cant as easily control where the ball is going to come down. Rodgers is on an entirely different level when it comes to ball control and placement.
