So, I've never driven a Skippy F4 IRL, but I do have IRL track experience, and drive them in sims, as well as have spoken to several IRL drivers (mostly trying to understand how they feel IRL to gauge which sims are most accurate) I do recommend trying them in sims. iRacing and RFactor 2 in particular, as they are great tools. Beyond that, between the sims, watching videos and talking to IRL drivers, I have learned that you want to be quite smooth transitioning from brake to gas in these cars. Quick lift off gas can cause snap oversteer. Small amounts of maintenance throttle through corner keeps the car settled. Quickly lifting CAN be used to your advantage to get the car to rotate, but not without it's risks, and when doing so, you'll probably want to be prepared to countersteer slightly. Also, these cars scrub a lot of speed with too much steering input. So smoothly rotating the wheel JUST enough to get around a corner will be faster than faster, larger inputs I am following to hear response from Tommy, as beyond what I do know, I'd love to hear some insight!
