Unless it was a player he liked of course. Can’t forget all the times that Skip would argue that Kawhi was never the Clippers closer and didn’t have to be and it was fine for the team to depend on a bench player to be the closer of the team over it being the star. But of course we also can’t forget all the indictments of LeBron for not being a GOAT candidate since he is willing to share the ball at the end versus feeling that he has to take that shot and because of that he isn’t clutch (although LeBron has made a ton of late game go ahead shots or game winners throughout his career). I’ve always enjoyed Skip simply by never expecting his takes to be anything close to consistent or rational. At that point the more absurd they get leads to more entertaining debate:
