LaMelo's answer was perfect. All young boys, especially in the black community, need to idolize their fathers. Its good to admire athletes for their god given ability but you should never truly idolize them. Your idol should be someone tangible to you, someone you can actually reach out to and ask for advice, that is the role of the father and regardless of how people feel about Lavar he raised his kids like he was supposed to.
