LeBron James made history by becoming the first player to ever have 20 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a playoff game but it wasn’t enough. The Blazers ended the game on a 19-to-6 run to win 100 to 93. Lillard finished with 34 points on 6 of 13 shooting from beyond the arc. Is Portland *actually* playing defense?” Sure, Lakers missed a bunch of open buckets, but Portland actually did a decent job of putting up some pressure compared to the Brooklyn and Dallas games. There defense was fine, having McGee AD and Howard in a big men rotation forces the Blazers to put Whiteside and Nurkic for long periods of times. It comes down to this, they need to make open shots the only person who was fine down the stretch is the wildcard Kuzma and if he hits the shot I get worried because if the ball touches his hand that’s green light enough for them.
