Skip the Lines at Tokyo Disney Resort - Tips to Booking Premier Access and Priority Passes for Rides

Here is my guide to booking Disney Premier Access and Disney Priority Passes at the Tokyo Disney Resort.
They’re not called Fastpasses, but they’re grouped into 2 categories to “skip the line” and use the express lane right by the crowd. The paid passes system is called Disney Premier Access and it’s available for the most popular rides. Disney Priority Passes are free passes for the second most popular rides.
These passes are not available for all rides and cannot be booked in advance. You must be in the park to book the passes through the app.
Fantasy Springs rides require Disney Premier Access passes to skip the line or Standby Passes to wait in the standby queue.
Here are my best tips and tricks based on my experience.

Annie, they're removed the need of a reservation / pass to enter Fantasy Springs to walk around since Jan 7th. Also, both Indian Jones rides (raging spirits and crystal skull) both have single rider as well. Both rides using SR is almost a walk on every time I've ever been to the park. For Journey into the center of the earth, one of the tricks that worked for me was the ride goes down for a reset just about every afternoon that i've noticed for 1/2 hr to an hour. when it goes down I usually make my way back to the ride and get in standby (it's been short every single time i did this on my 2 trips on multiple days to SEA). It's worked out for me every time where it's a very short wait. Also don't forget to tell people to go wait to get in line for the park at 6:30am. People in Japan don't mess around 😂 Thanks for the video. 😀

Great info! I was there for New Years and Fantasy Springs was still restricted during the day, but no surprise they opened it after the New Year holiday. I’ll have to use your tip for Journey to the Center of the Earth next time. It’s such a great ride. My first time riding, it had been down and I was standing near the entrance when they reopened and was able to run into the queue. I love arriving early! Jet lag works to my advantage in Japan. I’m always there super early ready to go!

Have you been in October? I'm wondering how busy it will be. We will be in Tokyo and I'm debating between staying at TDR or staying in Tokyo and getting an early train and using the paid and unpaid passes. Great information in this video, thank you!

I was thinking i would buy DPA for Rapunzel and buy another DPA for Frozen😄 Do i have to do that or just try to get the standby pass first? Your suggestion means a lot🙏

So if you stayed two nights at a hotel, you still only get early entry for the last day?? Just double checking. I was thinking of staying at the ambassador, but I’m also not heading there till 2026

Is there no way to pick your location when buying the parade seats? I thought there were bench seats at some point. My mother isn’t going to be able to get back up off the ground if we have to sit there 😢

There are bench seats but the signs say reserved for Vacation Package and we’ve never even had the opportunity to book them with our packages. I’m not sure about the parades, but when I booked Believe Sea of Dreams at DisneySea, there was a section labeled for standing instead of sitting but you have to select that one when booking. You may want to just try to walk up and stand for the parade rather than book a spot. You can find good viewing if you walk up last minute since everyone in front of you is sitting
