I love the Scott doll. 100% right out of the 70's!! Look for the 1981 Sunsational Malibu Black Ken doll. He has a perfect rooted afro simillar to Scott's!

Scott reused the Jimmy Osmond doll’s body that was sold a few years prior. The Jimmy Osmond doll came with a bent arm so that he could hold a microphone in his hand. Very similar to the Donny Osmond doll that was sold around that time.

Great episode. So Scott was supposed to be a jock, and the thought process was he would have tennis outfits , basketball outfits but I don't think it came to fruition which is why he had the bent arm to hold a tennis racket etc. If you look at the Ken you compared him to and Scott's necks are slightly larger than where the head connects. These dolls suffered head shrinkage as they aged, which is why Scott's head easily could pop off, the same with Kens of the time period. The silk looking Baseball jackets and the short shorts were very popular in that time period. What a great time period in Barbie box art, such a great trippy look to the graphics. I really liked this episode Enzo.

You are born in the 70s you said? Cool me too. I`m from 74. I turned 50 last year and I feel great about it. I like Barbie. But when it comes to dolls I`m a lover of Jem and the Hologrames. I always love curly haired dolls, like my Andra Looks and Sally Ride. I just need a pick and styling is done. We did have the buff Looks Ken in this last wave. He had curls. I donated him because I couldn’t find any clothes or shoes that would fit him. Then I ordered a rerooted version of him with even more curls. 😂. I love the dolls, but the clothing and shoe options are still limited.

I have this doll and the corresponding Skipper in my collection. I use his bent arm to stand him arm and arm with Skipper. One thing that annoys me about the way he was made is that they could have at least given him articulated legs like Skipper has, but they chose not to.
