I skipped class a lot in seventh grade because I thought it was “cool”. It was always six period studyhall and my friends and I would hide in the girls bathroom diagonal from the studyhall room. There was no real reason to skip that class, we didn’t do anything in that class or get grades, we’d just be missing for an hour. But one day when we decide to skip that class, we were being a bit loud and the teacher heard us and had a girl student go check it out, she saw us on the floor reading magazines from our book bags and eating snacks we snuck in from lunch. We thought she was going to snitch but we never got in trouble. Even though she didn’t tell on us, we never skipped again.

One time I “tried” to skip school. Well actually it was just 2 lessons. Every Tuesday, our school would go to this park, and it would take us maybe 20 minutes to get there so when we did get there we only had 15 minutes to play. So me and 2 other girls decided to skip it by hiding in a bathroom stall. After maybe and hour or so, we were like “Oh yeah, there’s probably no one outside we can run around the school without getting called out by the teachers!” So when we all left the bathroom we heard people calling our names. There were teachers everywhere and a few of our friends crying. turns out the school had been looking for us. And turns out, we skipped more than just the park. We skipped math too. And that’s how I skipped a lesson.

I’ve skipped school multiple times but the worst time that still makes me feel guilty was when I was in 6th grade. So there was a bus stop in front of my house and behind my house. So one day I told my mom that I was going to the bus stop behind the house but instead of going to the bus stop I hid behind my house and waited for my parents to leave. Then sent a fake email to the school saying I was sick. To this day my parents still don’t know.

Luna Wolf17 in my street my bus stop is at the end of the street and when I was halfway walking to it I saw the bus picking up the people from my school and leaving without me so... I ran for the next bus stop and I rarely eat breakfest so my stomach hurt when I ran XD I ran the opposite way the bus was going cause it makes a loop around from another street and comes to where to stop signs are and I made it. The bus opened up the doors and I got in and I was panting and sweating XD my friend was proud of me but I felt like I was dying. This happened a few times (maybe 4 times) and I made it for those 2 times but one time I didn't even try cause that day I had gym and I would have to run again so I decided not to and went back to my home, plus the bus left right when I got out of my home and I live at the end of the street. I hate not going to school cause you miss something big.

I’m not sure if this is a British thing or? I decided with a friend we were gonna skip the last two lessons of the day, so. Instead of turning up to registration (veryyyy strict and it was MANDATORY) we sat outside on a bench. Now at the time we thought “maybe a teacher or two would come looking” but no, we were so wrong. Turns out the school immediately called the police and they sent 2-3 vehicles to search for us in this town. Keep in mind we only a few metres from school and hadn’t left the grounds. When we finally saw a teacher coming in our direction my friend started “crying/sobbing” just to make it seem like we had a reason to be out, and this teacher walked straight past us and told the school he hadn’t seen us when he walked on the path only a few Center metres from us. They contacted our parents and told them we were missing. So when the bell for the end of school rang, we ran inside James Bond style got our stuff and ran to the bus queue however, we were caught and the head teacher had a chat with us etc. Let’s just say the next few days were aw k w a r d (hmu btw @Its.hxrryy I’d love to chat about this)

I've never skipped a whole day of school but I have skipped a class. In my freshman year of hs, I was in the worst mood. I was not taking anyone's crap that day. I had PE for my 4th period and I asked my friend, who had it 3rd, what we were doing. I was praying for dodgeball because it was so much fun but instead, we were running the mile. At that point, I had just completely given up on having a good day. So my friend (she had the same PE as me) and I decided that we were not running. It was a hot day and the mile for that day wasn't even a lot of points. It was only 25 and I had only ever gotten 100% on everything. So, we went to tardy sweep (classroom kids go to to skip class) and when we got there, a campus assistant looked at us and went "What class are you skipping?" We gave him our info and told him we were skipping PE. So he said, "ok, since it's PE, I'm guessing you don't have much work so if you don't just go on your phones, play games, watch youtube, idc." I was sick one day, like really sick, and my class won a party for turning in the most box tops. They had the popsicles that my class won the day that I was sick. 😭😂

One time, I pretended I was sick, and so I didn't go to school. The following day, TURNS OUT I HAD WHITE BUMPS ALL IN MY THROAT. And so, I had to skip school again, go to the doctor, get a prescription, and then I realized the day I was going back, that the whole reason I skipped school was to finish a book report. .____. I never finished it, and it was the end of the term too. SO THAT WAS FUN. And also, I had to have cough drops all day, I had to wear a mask, and I couldn't even have lunch. I guess that's payback for skipping school. （´～｀)

I skipped school on Friday, well I did have a cold but also my class was having a party from doing a test but I got too low on the test because of stress so I just said I didn't feel good... I'm glad I didn't go though I got no sleep the night before that from all the scary stuff I watched-

Everything cool happens when you stay at home. (Some kid pulled the fire alarm at dismissal once) and I was genuinely sick and went home early, also I had pink eye for my kindergarten field trip and I was like devastated, oh and we had a false alarm for a bomb threat and honestly I’m glad I missed that one haha.

so when I was in high school, I kept hearing about this fabled "senior skip day" at my school. so once senior year came, and people asked me to go to a party for "senior skip day" I was just like "oh cool, so this is, like, a holiday thing right? Fully approved?" and I found out after I had already gone to the party... it was not... it was literally just a tradition for seniors to skip a day and have a party every year, and the school stopped caring.

I skipped all my I.T classes during the last year of secondary school. Didn't hide or anything. I just watched people doing P.E or hang out in my art teacher's class just because he was cool like that and I was allowed to paint and do whatever I wanted.

When I was in kindergarten the nurse at my school would take temperature with an ear thermometer, so I put hot water in my ears and got off school. Then I had to fake it until the next day and I was good.
