When I was around twelve my dad had a stroke while driving to the grocery store and went missing for a week before popping up in a hospital three towns over. I was a kid so I didn’t really understand what was happening or why it was so scary, I just knew my dad was different after that. It was a very severe stroke- his brain was pretty much permanently rewired. For a long time he either couldn’t sleep or would sleep for a whole day at a time, he would stutter badly and his speech was generally slurred and difficult to understand, among a lot of other things. It was very hard for him, and very hard for my family as well. That was almost six years ago now, and he’s made a full recovery. He’s not the same as he was before, of course, but he’s not suffering anymore. He recovered for the most part within around two years- he used to not be able to play video games, but recently he’s been able to again which is exciting, because it means he’s gotten a lot better! Basically what I’m trying to say is that though I don’t understand what you’re going through myself, I know how hard and how scary it can be for you and for others. It will probably be really frustrating but it will get better! I’m not really sure what else to say shfjicbfk but I just hope you can make a swift and easy recovery all the way. Thanks for your content and I’m glad you’re still around! ♥️

I remember that I had a stroke when I was 10 years old. I also had a seizure at the same time, I was broken out in hives, and I was immeadetly rushed to the E.R, after I had thrown up. I didn't have to have an MRI, but I couldn't function right for a week. After we left from the Hospital, my mom and stepdad picked me up. ( My Father drove me to the E.R ) We went to a bowling alley ( My stepdad was a professional bowler. ) Where I met someone who would become my math teacher in 6th grade. I tried to bowl, but since of the stroke + seizure, I just kept falling over, and struggled to get back up.

I had a stroke when I was 3 and it was even scarier for me because my grandpa died of one earlier that year. well anyway, I was paralyzed on my left side and I still have parcel paralyzation. (so my left hand is even more useless) the stroke also gave me brain damage so now I have mood swings, which didn't help with the seizures, although they're not that bad and I just freeze up. and now I take meds for them and I haven't had one in 3 years. so yes I agree that a stroke is a good reason to take a break from youtube. I literally hate having an mri. I have them all the time, and they give me a drink that makes me feel so sick, and then they put me in this loud ass machine which I already hate because I’m severely anxious, and then like every opening from the waist down burns like I’ve eaten chili. Then I physically die. >:(

@toriality66025 жыл бұрын
It isn't so much as perfection as it is the art of illusion/pandering to the audience. :) Now if you wanna see wrong, one of my favorite game franchises (Dragon Age) has your main character using a different hand in game as it is on the artwork of the game itself. That's a real mess up. 😂

I ended up going to the ER one night after my hands began trembling. Just holding a full bottle water made my hands tremble, same for half full. Felt faintish and fatigue as well. Turns out my potassium level was low. This was a day or two after I went to bed w/ a fever of 101°. Wasn’t convinced something was wrong until the faint spells and trembling hands . On the way to the hospital, I brace myself for bad news. Only to hear my potassium was low. After a few hours hooked up to an IV machine. I went back to my old self (after getting home and sleeping). You would think eating two bananas every two days, was enough to prevent my low potassium level.

@cristaluchiha87735 жыл бұрын
Wow I’m so glad you’re ok! Must’ve been scary :c and for me I felt very warm, tired and dizzy. At first it was just my vision going bad but I didn’t think of it much cause I figured I just need new prescription glasses which I told my mom. Then I noticed I was drinking A LOT. At some during a night I decided to eat ice cream and I felt my tongue sting but I didn’t think much of it and went to sleep. I woke up not feeling hungry and when I did try to eat I legit COULDNT swallow anything. When I tried to drink anything it stung my tongue so bad it felt like I had so many cuts on my tongue. The only thing I could drink was milk and water. My fam was worried af and I didn’t want to tell them how I was feeling cause I had no insurance at them time. And I didn’t want to burden them with paying the bills and everything. Which was obviously my biggest mistake. A few more days pass by and we went to the zoo cause my uncles work gave him tickets to head to the zoo. And it’s pretty hot that day I couldn’t stand it at all I was not looking forward to it. I was miserable the whole time and my fam said I looked like I was sick but I just complained it was the heat, cause honestly I hate summer and the heat is just a no to me. But once we were home I spent my day in my room which is in the basement and it’s pretty cool there and I was feeling a little better. But when night time came I was at my limit. I couldn’t sleep at all or get comfortable I even tried to sleep in the living room area in the basement and the last thing I remember I was just laying on the couch where more of the cool was. Next thing I remember was coming back into consciousness and hearing my uncle, feeling him hold my hand, and paramedics. I couldn’t open my eyes but I was able to realize during those few seconds that I was being rushed to the hospital. I then open my eyes sometime later and I’m on a bed and doctors and nurses are around me talking to each other and my fam and I couldn’t understand much but I was talking to them too in a very lethargic way. Then I heard that they had to do surgery on me to check the inside of me for something (I don’t know what and I don’t wanna ask cause it honestly just cause tears and I don’t wanna have my family remember that dreadful day TwT) all I know is that they feared I had something bad inside my chest but it turned out to be a false alarm and now I have a large scar on my back -w- but after I woke up from the surgery I was a bit panicky on where I was and I looked around to see if my family was anywhere in sight and they sadly weren’t since it was night time. The next day they came to visit but I was so tired from all this happening I spent most of my time sleeping. Apparently I was there for like a week. Later throughout that week I was told that I was VERY dehydrated, had a bad infection and that I also ended up getting diabetes,Me being a sweet tooth I was so upset but obviously greatfull I was alright. Just remembering waking up and seeing my arms and hands so bruised up from what they had to stick in me for medicine and insulin was scary enough. I couldn’t eat at all cause of my diabetes so they had me tube fed for a good while until I was confirmed that I was making progress on recovery that I was moved to a different area and was finally able to eat and drink normally. I couldn’t walk though or move much from my surgery and the infection was on my feet so when I was told to try to walk at least a little with their help, I struggled with how much pain I get on my left leg. I couldn’t feel it and if I did it was that numbing pain. But at the end of the day I managed to get better and leave sooner than they expected me to. My family was very greatful that I pulled through. I am as well cause I didn’t want that to be the last time they had to see me. Sadly that’s how my dad passed away with a different condition. We all didn’t give him a proper goodbye and we didn’t spend as much time with him that last day we had with him. I have made healthier choices since that day. That day was a scary wake up call.

I had leukemia from 2016 to 2019 so it was 10 years old to 13. Let me just say I hate spinal taps, but there my favorite process of going to the doctor. Every other time I go, I get so much medicine put into me, and after wards for like a week, I feel TERRIBLE. When I get a spinal tap though, it all happens while I sleep so I don’t feel anything. When I wake up, I feel like I’m high (even though I don’t know what that feels like). I get sad about everything, i speak nonsense out of my mouth, I say weird things, and I almost never remember any of it. I only know of this because of my mom recording it. I felt great afterwards though, sooooo. In conclusion spinal taps weren’t that bad, and overall gave me real break from all the medicine.
