I grew up on a farm in the Caribbean, so I had the "they're not herbivores" trauma early. Saw a cow following a chicken and her chicks, I thought it was cute so I followed them humming the ants go marching one by one because I was like 6. Then the cow just casually picked up one of the chicks and ate it, while momma chicken went crazy. I cried so hard I threw up.

What gets me is how that sort of thing can be traumatic even if one is already aware of how death works and all that. Like, my niece is also a farm kid. She *gleefully* helped with slaughtering and butchering *as a toddler.* But then one of the rabbits we were raising *for meat* escaped and my sister's dog found it in a nearby bush. My niece *freaked out* because she thought the dog was killing the rabbit. (He wasn't intentionally, though the poor thing may have been on the verge of a heart attack from all the licking.) Even after we got the rabbit out of the bush, put the dog in the garage, and *showed* my niece that the rabbit was alive, she was *still* inconsolable. She insisted on cradling the rabbit in her lap and "comforting" it. Remember, this was a rabbit destined to be *food.*

I am SO happy this video exists. Six months ago I was working on a critique of Beastars, which developed into a fan rework, foccusing on how Louis' self-imposed meat consumption could be used as a plot point to him transitioning to being a carnivore, since I had heard that deer would occasionally eat birds and rodents. Now that Casual Geo has covered this, I can point people to this video whenever I try to explain my reasoning.

12:01 "Horses love chips" Quick but fairly important disclaimer. While Cheez-Its (being wheat based) would likely be fine for them. Make sure to never feed a horse potato chips, or any other potato based products as it's part of the nightshade family and thus toxic to horses. Remember to always research foods to avoid for certain species whenever giving a animal something outside of their usual diet to try. For example while chocolate is well known to be toxic to dogs, so too are grapes (and most related plants) and are actually even more threatening to them with high risk of renal failure and death. Thanks for reading and taking the extra precautions to keep our friends of fur, scale and feather safe from harm to freely enjoy life ^-^.

I drink hot tea and orange juice to stay away from the sickness to bad my niece and nephew don’t know how to cover their mouths and now I’m choking down a lot more tea and blow my nose until it falls off

So I stumbled upon you and your husband videos like yesterday, and I haven't regretted. That said, my cat is definitely broken because he'll go out of his way to try and steal; lettuce, carrots, cucumber(the thing that should terrify a cat), and other veggies just to eat it. Like no joke, I've caught him eating my dam bowl of lettuce that I was going to turn into a dam fine salad.
