“But that is how life is” And it’s better than life with no new Skjalden videos. Better late than never and all that. Looking forward to these planned videos. And hopefully more? If that how life is of course.

Skjalden, it's very nice to see you again, welcome back. I've often wondered where Advent calendars came from. This is a wonderful video. I especially love the scene of the pretty little Yule tree standing in the snow, with its colorful lights glowing in the night. It's a beautiful scene. That t-shirt is great and the animations are exceptional. You are very, very good at this. You really put a lot of time and effort into creating your videos and it shows. It makes all the difference in quality, and your videos are definitely high quality. The content is also both educational and enjoyable to watch. On a side note: I think you could make quite an interesting video about Viking archers, their skills, tactics, and the types of bows and arrows they used. Maybe even the different types of woods used and the reasons why. It's just an idea for you because I'm not sure how much information there is available to you. It could possibly end up a really long video, but it's up to you of course. :) Thanks. I would like to thank you for all of your hard work. Here's wishing you and yours a beautiful Yule season. Many blessings.

Hello Anna, I am glad that you liked the video, and thank you for your thoughtful comment. Its an interesting idea to make a video about archers, and what kind of materials they used. I will write the idea down for now, and use it someday. There are still a lot of other videos that is on my mind, and that I need to get out of my system :) I wish you and your family a happy Yule season, and a God Jul. :)

Wow , those scenes at the very end gave me a massive nostalgia hit . Min Mor er fra Kalundborg. I have spent a lot of my childhood in Denmark. It is the best place to spend Yule. Tak for det and really looking forward to more of these . . Skal

I am glad that you have returned to making these video. I am aware how difficult it is to have a balance between work and creating things (I write a blog, so it's almost the same). I hope to see a next video soon :)

not so sure about that early-20th. century(can't remember the year) cookie Christmas calender. I mean, I'm no expert on cookie-expiration dates but I would be carefull with a 3-week old cookie :)

It sounds like Danish pepole had good Jul calenders. See them and stay away from the Swedish ones. If you still want to se them pick anyone other then Kurt Olssons julkalender or Lille Luj och Änglaljus i strumpornas hus. Sweden wount take any responseblity for your mental health. if you still look at them.
