Yeah he is strong in body, but it's his strong mindset that I admire the most. His character outside of the ring has surpassed his performance in the ring. Name me another MMA fighter who has earned this level of respect from fans all around the world? We now see Tom, Dick, Harry and even Cillian praising the Eagle, the same guys who once hated him, but it's easy to hate someone/something we do not understand, it is in our nature to do so. Only plebs glorify degenerates who promote getting drunk, cursing and disrespecting peoples parents, culture, religion, their entire way of life. They are also thankful for making it to the places they make it, and wearing a flag is their way of thanking their culture - their people, their customs, their way of living, and so on. I think wearing one's flag is the most beautiful thing a human being can do; don't misunderstand: the flag does not represent a government or a group of individuals, it represents the positivity, the culture and altruism of the people.

The reason he gave isn't the real reason. Dagestan fought a brutal war only about 150 years ago for independence and lost. Which is pretty recent. And a lot of caucus republics gained independence in 91 and a lot of people don't think its fair, so he probably doesn't even really think of himself as Russian
