NOTE: There is a temperature diagram in the evaluation section. The outside temperature has several noticeable upward spikes. These are the tunnels on the route, where the temperature is usually above zero even in winter.

Hi Matthias, Thanks for the video. As a native English speaker I find your English clear and easy to understand. This is not intended as a criticism, but thought it might be helpful to point out you mixed up 59 with 95 and 54 with 45. It is really appreciated that you make the videos in English.

Thanks for pointing out. As hard as I try I always mix up numbers and I don't know why it still happens. Sorry for that

Funnily enough I charged mine a few days ago to 80% while the outdoor temperature was around 0°C. The next day we had a sunny 9°C & the car was reporting 82%.

Yeah used to see this with my tesla it used to "lose" a noticeable amount of energy on the percentage shown overnight. The SOC varied and then would rise when the battery warmed up again.

Very interesting as usual, thank you!

8:40 Variation of capacity seems really high. In my ID3 58Kwh i have not observed a variation of such high magnitude for only 10 degrees Celsius (not even between summer and winter temperatures, where Delta is higher). Were there any other variables which changed apart from temperature? What about the Maximum Energy Content parameter? Is that one decreasing then coming back up at the same rate?

And, more importantly, did you check that you received the 5Kwh back when the battery was warmed up next time? :) If it's reversible just based on battery temperatore, no problem for me. But would bean issue if it's semi-permanent (the entire winter with lower capacity battery).

I checked it with a preheated battery and it's coming back. I'll show that next week in a video

Nice comparison between summer and winter consumption Matthias. The energy your battery lost overnight is really surprising. Assuming that during the summer test the interior heating didn’t draw any power, did you take the 3kW into account it used during this winter test?

The A/C on the summer drive was at around 1.6kW so about half the power of the heater in winter. So this only makes up for around 2.7kWh/h more consumption in winter.

Hi Mattias, I have exactly the same spec 2024 Enyak as you - even the same colour! Have you experienced or heard of problems with the 12V battery depleting and preventing most of the remote functions working? Mine has had these issues since delivery in Sept 24. Skoda Support has acknowledged to me that it's a known issue and says it's working on a solution - but months later still no solution. My Skoda dealer won't look at it again as they have no solution either. Interested to hear your thoughts. Ian

Problems with 12V battery are quite common in cold weather, which is very normal weather in Finland and other Nordic coutries during winter. I've seen several people complaining about this. I've also experienced this and not been able to manage car remotely when it's -10 C or colder. This is really shame, that 12V battery management is so poor and maybe even over sensitive by blocking all the remote commands when the battery measures lower voltage. Poor design.

Since Christmas it's got cold here in S/E London, and my 12v battery is low, apparently, and I can't use the remote services. Even the KESSY doesn't work properly, it won't sense me approaching I have to press the key fob to unlock. I'm guessing that's to do with the 12v as well.

Thanks @juhisps and @michaeldarling6791. Yes, all those things are a problem for me whether it's warm or cold, whether the car's been driven or not, or charged or not. Plus the interior lights, passenger heated seat, and communicating with Octopus. Skoda Support told me they've withdrawn support for connecting to 3rd party energy companies - all part of the 12V problem.

This is one of the big issues currently with the ENYAQ as I receive dozen of mails and messages on depleted 12V batteries and the message of the MySkoda App that the limit of the battery protection has exceeded. Skoda still does not have a solution as a replacement of the battery does not solve it. I'm on it and will report the solution as soon as Skoda knows what to do. My ENYAQ has the same problem and it's really annoying.
