I have one Monte Carlo 1.5 dsg ,, it is stunning in its looks , great in comfort space .... It's features are very useful in daily life no showoff like twin Korean sisters ,with good space for 3 members in rear seat, above all it's ride and handling enters into next segment of Benz Audi BMW .... As they are designed on same platform.... Absolutely smokes it all.... Joy behind the steering is fantastic...i feel it's underrated car in Indian market as it has potential to get more sales .... This is a Magnificent car. I feel proud that I chose mine 1.5 Monte Carlo DSG. Driving dynamics, maneuverability, the Turbo engine everything is so great. The only issue is the rattling noise but it has stayed constant to minor sounds near front AC vents. When the car is so good you can ignore other issues. I am getting 12 kmpl even in traffic. It only goes below that in crawling traffic. Sometimes i even get 14 kmpl. You'll never get bored driving this one. Design is also timeless.

@@sudeepgowda644 Astor still under steers a bit, and performance rush which Kushaq gives at a price point with 1.0L engine is just unmatchable compared to 1.5 naturally aspirated engine MG offers. Although I find MG Astor’s interior to be top notch with features, only ventilated seats are missing.

It is truly a complete package but after sales service and maintenance cost is a true disaster in itself i was gonna buy monte carlo edition but the ac malfunctioned when i took it for a test drive and after i heard the maintenance cost i immediately went off the pricing is good for the segment but maintenance completely kills it off 25k per service not at all worth the cost plus parts expensive and no discounts or offers were available on service benefits when i was buying hope they look in these issues too because many buyers don’t buy for this reason itself otherwise the car itself was perfect in every way

Last year Kushaq sold 13K cars overall 👍 But 2022 till November it might touched 25-30k range which is Superhit in India 👍🤩 But still people needs Gimmick features only but i will definitely say Kushaq or Taigun both are Gems 🔥🔥🔥 but need to improve service and dealerships 🔥👍

City mileage 10-13. It’s still improving. For highways solid 16 plus. I push vehicle so hard. So for me this is more than sufficient. For pick up no vehicle comes near to this. I can overtake any vehicle even when they are pushing their vehicle at its best. Note am a solo driver

Bro it depends on you If you are an enthusiast who needs fun in driving better acceleration and steering feel go with the kushaq 1.5 incosidering the 2 lakhs higher price than creta 1.4 turbo. But if you drive in the city need more mileage,better resale and servicing then go with creta. Only problem is with safety creta has safety features but poor built quality so you need to sacrifice the positives of creta and go with kushaq with its nagatives . . Hope this helps you

buying this car is like taking a risk, it may turn out to be a great car else you will end up getting so frustrated because of this. If you are unlucky like me then your car will spend most of its time in workshop. I bought Skoda Kushaq 1.0 Ambition AT 6 months back, and since then car has spent almost 1 month in service centre due to brake jamming issue. Issue is that brakes gets applied suddenly while car is in motion and does not get released for hours. This has happened thrice in 3k km of running in 6 months and car had to be towed to service centre everytime as it doesn't even move once it happens. Skoda has no solution of the issue till now and every time they are just replacing some parts randomly in hope that issue will get resolved. Till now, brake pads, master cylinder (twice), brake booster have been changed. I won't recommend this car to any one, save your hard earned money and stay AWAY FROM SKODA.

@@Akhoney its a reoccurring issue so cannot say that issue is resolved without driving car for atleast 6 months…1st issue appeared after only 500km running, then service centre returned the car without detailed diagnosis as the brakes got released automatically after 3-4hrs but the same issue reappeared after 100 more kms, then service centre took matter a bit seriously and replaced brake master cylinder but issue reoccurred after 3k kms so this time they have replaced master cylinder and brake booster…i have driven only 500km after last replacement so cannot be sure if this is fixed or will reappear after a few thousand kilometres

Did you carry 95 octane petrol in a bottle for your trip? Min 95 octane petrol is needed for this engine as per user manual and its extremely hard to find in India on a trip

You can use any petrol. I have been using normal petrol on my 1.0 and there are no issues. Most fellow owners I know are also using normal petrol.

So using normal petrol is at owners risk and it will be just a matter of time the engine starts having problems and breakdown in middle of a trip showing EPC error as reported by many owners

If changing fuel pump would have made this engine compatible with 91 octane petrol, then VW/Skoda would have also updated their manual accordingnly with the latest manufactured units but they still recommend min 95 octane in the user manual for newly manufactured units as well. All TSI enginez requires min 95 octane petrol

In my humble opinion, in this segment Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor are the best vehicles that one can buy. Both cars tick all the boxes. MG Astor's engine is not that punchy but most people are not driving enthusiast but it offers the best value. Unfortunately both are highly underrated and people often for millage keeping safety and driving pleasure aside.

I am driving a used 2015 porsche cayenne diesel which i purchased for 14 lakhs. I have found a good mechanic. Gives a decent economy of 10 to 12 kmpl . Average service cost comes around 24k . which is fine considering i had a budget of 20 lakhs. It gave one major service cost of 90 k. It is something else to drive compared to these cars.
