Hi Sunderdeep Ji, Thanks for your videos it helped me in purchasing the right product. I test drove I20 Nline, Verna 1.5 turbo, Sonet diesel, Honda city, Seltos Diesel, XUV700 and ignored VW-Skoda product due the perception i had of a typical Indian which is costlier to maintain any VW-Skoda car. After watching many review videos of Virtus, Taigun i saw your videos on the VW-Skoda and finally decided to test drove the Virtus GT and i fell in love with the 1.5 TSI engine but ended up purchasing the Slavia Sportline 1.5 DSG. My choice between Virtus & Slavia was only on looks. And choosing a sedan was bcoz i owned a verna diesel previously and i never liked an SUV. I wanted a diesel hence i test drove the SUV's since no diesel offering in sedan. After driving 4k KMs in 1.5 months, My Experience with Car have been amazing with minor Cons of the car but who cares!! as long as you enjoy driving! My Observation: 1. The 1.5 TSI Engine in terms of tech is way ahead of the competition. And the DSG works like magic! 2. The Mileage depends on the driver. If you keep it under 80-100Kmph easily you can get 16-19kmpl ( i use only 95 octane petrol ) . 3. The Handling of the car is really amazing feels rock solid at any speeds and always feels i have control on the car. 4. Build quality is excellent for the metal used and paint quality are commendable. once you enter the car you feel very safe. 4. Very comfortable for 4 ppl not for 5 onboard though. 5. The Cabin experience is just as average since the plastics are not of good quality. And there are rattling issues but not very annoying. 6. Music system is good but not as good as the competition. I did my research and went ahead with VW-Skoda product since they offer a value for money product in terms of build quality, engine & gearbox technology they offer, as compared to the market which they offer all the fancy feature which you may never use as the time passes. If anyone plan to purchase the Virtus GT please have a look at Slavia which has launched Monte Carlo & Sportline version they look beautiful, sportier and cheaper than Virtus by 1L (Bengaluru).

This 1 litre tsi engine is 2018 engine of the year winner in 1000cc capacity. They have given it for such price is amazing those who have driven the engine above 60 70 knows how powerful it gets in its turbo range and its eager to go at high speeds.

So these brands should need good appreciation from our country also. Their driving qualities, engine,stability,safety are carried out same DNA as their own other brands. Skoda will sell 10,000 units a month. I think this will be the ecosport moment for Skoda Edit after full variants price revealed: Pricing other than base model is on the higher side. Lots of media reports of 3 variants under 10lakhs (manual) but did not turn out to be correct. Based on the pricing i don't think 10k is possible as other cars like 3xO offer more value for higher variants. This will cater to buyers looking for good driving dynamics and also those value buyers who can get base variant. Will be great if they can sustain 2k to 3k over medium term after launch.

IMHO, For good, you will be proven wrong this time. Even Skoda mess with price of other variant on Dec 2nd, The Base model is much value proposition as it just need a stereo and camera. Apart from Kushaq, Nexon and 3XO will bear the brunt heavily. Sales will be atleast 5k per month and the figure improves with touch points in tier2 and tier3 locations. @@SunderdeepSingh

I saw your video on Rapid Rider and purchased the vehicle(Rider plus variant) in 2020. That was one of my best decisions, today also i enjoy driving that car. Thanks alot Sunderdeep Singhji for all your videos. I also have added a lot of OEM features to that car in total OEM way. So i have added following OEM features- 1. Auto dimming mirrors 2. Rain sensing wipers 3. Auto headlamps. 4. Upgraded to OEM Projector setup of headlamps. 5. Slavia alloy wheels(16 inch diamond cut). 6. Cruise control. 7. The party trick - Electrictronic 12 way adjusting seats from skoda superb. So i had bought the vehicle for 9.15 lakhs on road, in 2024 i spent almost 2 lakhs on it. So in total i jave spent 11.15 lakhs as of today for that car. In todays market there is not car at this cost offering soo many features with the performance, build quality and service cost(i had purchased service pack) so as of now i havent spent anything on the service front. On top of that i will be opting for 2 years servicing for just 13500/- which is resonable from skoda. There is no other brand in which we can do these things in OEM way. Really happy with the vehicle and will be keeping and maintaining it till it lasts for sure. Thankyou very much for the knowledge and information on your channel. It was possible because of you. Its like fulfilling my childhood dream.

Absolutely on point Sunderdeep and you have mirrored my initial impression of Kylaq. Škoda has left no stone untouched for this. ADAS, 360 camera and electronic parking brakes will be introduced with Kushaq and Slavia facelift first and then in Kylaq. Škoda is aware of these feature misses and they will attempt to overcome that with aggressive pricing and attractive offers. Škoda will reintroduce Kushaq as a premium offering with these advance features to drive a more aspirational customer towards higher segment subject to their budget ofcourse. Also no one seems to have appreciated the launch timelines by Škoda. They have effectively ensured less sales in this segment during year end as prospective customers will be lured by the entire package and will want to wait. Other brands will also find it difficult to raise prices at the beginning of the new year as has been the practice so far. Next 4 quarters are going to be very interesting. Muneesh and other car tuners will be salivating at the prospect of getting their hands on this engine at dirt cheap prices and the possibilities are endless for customising to their heart’s desire.

Great Analysis Sunderdeep Pajhi as always I have been a VAG Group User from Past 10 Years with earlier having Polo TDi and Rapid TDi Never faced any issues with the cars and sold them to Buy Back a Kushaq 1.0 Manual Last year in exchange for Rapid and bought a Polo 1.0 L TSI High Line Plus this year for around 6.75 Lakhs, Wish this had come earlier but anyways I am a through and through Polo Lover and you can't go wrong with that Car. I have driven almost 24k Kms with the Kushaq already in 19 Months and it's a great car to be Honest I believe this Kylaq will eat up Kushaq 1.0L because it will be a Gem of a Car if they can put the Pricing right with this one and if they can bring the Signature + Variant under 10L Ex showroom then they will definitely do wonders in Sales But Pricing will be the Utmost Key this time

I own 1.0tsi virtus car. This engine comes with very strong performance with great torque delivery. You will not feel any problem over inclines. I have driven it in coorg and other hills. Kylaq will be even stronger performance since it's compact, lighter than virtus with same power delivery.

Driving dynamics, handling are important. A car carries lives , emotions of the people .. one should choose a car which is well engineered as driving dynamics provides lot of thing to a car (80% weightage)... any brand which bring such standards should be the choice. I always mention this and will keep saying that Skoda/VW build cars others build gadgets.

Thank you paaji for such an informative video.......Kudos to Skoda for an honest attempt........this car is getting a positive vibe......and it feels and looks premium in every regard if we talk about it's segment......and that 1.0 TSI engine mated to 6 speed TC❤......match made in heaven......the people who owns it know about it's capabilities.....I can vouch on it being the best in it's segment......and even considering the competition, this car can actual stand face to face with all it's rivals......talk about engine, gearbox, MQB-A0 IN platform, ride and handling, safety, feel good factor, features, long term reliability, addition of electric seats, road presence, styling, capability to go in every terrain, easy on the pocket, SVPs (4 years, if Skoda includes that), and last but not least, it's 7.89L starting price tag........It's a no non-sense car for those also who are buying their first car as well.......feeling great about it as a Contender from Skoda.....Hope it will do well in the future🤞

Skoda has really nailed it. Despite your hardwork for providing just few features like 360 and adas they didn't opted for it. Ac touch pannel should have improvised as it's really distracting. Rest the car is gem. I hope they advertise in a better way and must buy vehicle
