Nice looking wagon. I just bought a fully loaded 2018 Alltrack which I love. I live in Canada so my only 4 wheel Wagon options that could handle light off roading were the Subaru outback, VW Alltrack and the Audi Allroad. Outback was boring to drive on road because of the CVT and was 5000 more and the awesome Audi was 20,000 more. No brainer unless 20,000 is nothing to you. If the Skoda was available I may have chosen it though. Can't say as I have not driven it but it fits the bill.

How did you go with ground clearance? This seems like the perfect terrain for the scout but did you try anything a tad more adventurous? I'd have to have an extra inch of ground clearance but I'm still considering this car as in all other respects it seems perfect.

Is the scout version more expensive to maintain than the regular 4x4 version and does anyone have experience with the 2.0 or 1.4 or 1.5 petrol engines? I'm thinking that my next car will be a Skoda wagon 😊

I havn't noticed many in Australia. Due to the long distances I travel, I only buy diesel. I will check them out further....trouble is I really like my 2007 Toyota Landcruiser Prado and 2008 Audi Q7 4.2 TDi, parts are expensive though, even for the Prado!
