Skoda Octavia Vrs Estate. Third brake light replacement . Father & Son not Professional.

We change the faulty third brake light on the Skoda Octavia vrs mk2.

Good work guys. I've just done mine on my wifes Octavia estate and found the washer pipe disconnection the trickiest job ! Another thing I found out was when every thing was connected up I found the washer and wiper not working. Easily solved by shutting the rear door firmly so I found out ! I sprayed the trim clips with furniture polish to make them clip in easily.

Nice! Shutting the rear door hard for rear wiper, is that a skoda thing? Or do u think you have a loose connection?

@@zyndol I think it is a Skoda thing, try it on your car by just gently closing the rear door with out it latching !

Was pretty easy to be fair just gotta trust the plastic clips won't snap.

Do you perhaps have a tutorial of how to change 2016 Octavia Mk3 3rd brake light? I have managed to find solution only for the previous models. The Mk3 does not have these bolts. I tried pushing the light out, but am afraid of breaking it.

I have a spoiler over mine, any advices?

Unbolt from behind but lifts out so depends if spoiler will stop it lifting out. If so you might be stuck without removing the spoiler.
