Ricky you talking about race rage. I was in with some newbies back in the 70s not being counted in the race was basically testing my bike for a national race. Was lapping a back marker who knew I was coming and ran me off in the kitty litter at Druids. Went to sort him out in the paddock only to find my mrs pinning him up again a wall giving him the verbal assault left her to it as she was doing a great job and the red mist had subsided He later turned up and apologised . You never got on the wrong side of her and were somehow still married after 50 + years

You need something like a 'Jones and Shipman 540' surface grinder for shims etc, a small compact old school grinder. We're a family Precision engineering company (est.1982), and we use one for that kind of thing, we've just ground some hardened shims for a friend with a Triumph Stag. Also use a Borazon wheel rather than grit wheel for repeatability👍

The over parking and not saying thank you after giving way on the road are my biggest rage raisers. For parking I do what Ricky does, park a rizla off their car, hopefully their drivers side. Basic courtesy and politeness in this shared world goes a long way. I’ll happily join the ‘people standing up for courtesy’ group! Really enjoy the general content and updates, fault finding is excellent viewing

Mate keep the vids coming. Been watching while recovering from C and having immunotherapy. All clear now 🙌. Been great to watch. It’s having faith in yourself and team and you’ve Gotta go for it when you come out with comments that your £90 cheaper, than The garage down the road then it’s winner winner chicken dinner you just need to be able to find yourself some more reliable and skilled engineers the same as you have which I know can be a problem so don’t let the bastards grind you down. I know you just did the rants... But the turn style type queue took me straight back to an incident at co-op not long ago.. I walked into my local just for milk, grabbed a bottle and walked straight to the counter. The lad there spoke to me like a dog, saying I had to walk up and down two isles to come back through the queue system to come to the counter (which I was already stood at). I turned around, confirmed the shop was empty and I hadn't cut anyone up before my p*ss literally boiled over, the pressure release valve being my mouth. he got one of the fruitiest most colourful rants I've ever given. I actually invented at least 4 new colours for him to which I don't think he said a word back. I'd used that shop for about 4 years, always always being polite to everyone there (as I am with literally anyone who treats me the same).. I was asked to leave and banned 😂.

Hi Kate ( get well soon ) Hey Ricky, with regards to your compressor, a screw compressor is the way to go, may I suggest an air receiver as well. I would also run a ring main airline around the workshop in 2-3 inch with drops and isolators. If you are using air tools with flying leads consider air fuses as well.

Hahaha, the keys story reminded me of one of .my finest moments...Repeatedly woken.up at 6am by a lorry driver arriving illegally early to the building site 50m away ...and leaving his engine running outside my house, he gave me 2 fingers when I told him rather directly to turn it off. He then left the cab and went to the site gates, so I popped out and turned his lorry off, took the keys, and chucked them over onto the railway, by the live rail. He went mad, tried to fight me, and I just laughed at him.

Definately install a ring for the air supply rather than a u shape. The air pressure remains more constant through out the system where as in a horse shoe type set up air pressure could vary and air tools can be affected in use.

Great honest content. You would love it here in Germany where you never get thanked for letting someone through. I tend to try diplomacy over here but they haven’t cottoned on yet. I agree to politeness where due and have raised my kids accordingly but they have also seen me sticking up for them many a time. After all if nobody stands up to these wideboys then how do they know that it isn’t ok to be cheeky to others and disrespectful. Didn't see you at Brands, probably because we were at the far end of the lower paddock, and I think you were in the garages. Young lady done welll, another win and a second place. Would've been good to start from the beginning of the season, then we'd have a good chance of winning PI600 - but as it is, starting two race meetings in, 100 pts behind the leader, it's a lot of points to grab back - especially when the points leader finishes ahead... ;) At Castle Combe next! Can't wait.

way back in 1995 at Pembery Circuit I had a bit of race red mist ( racing trucks) and to this day there is a picture of the outcome still above the circuit bar of two destroyed trucks in mid flight - the truck was the 'Printers Devil' which was featured in Max Power when Graham Stead from Max Power did a few co-drivers races at Brands and Donni - Dav may remember from the Max Power days - look at the Spanish F1 when stroll drove in to Hamilton and Leclerc did the same as well all in free practice road rage at their level LOL - think the new channel idea is great you could call it KARMALANTY - taking Karma obviously and vigilantly and combining them. Or Karma 'REP'er - I love your content and find myself laughing and nodding my head in agreement. I have to say I think you should run for PM or join forces with ol' Nige as the two of you would be unstoppable and just think you would get great advertising as the party has your business name in their name 'RE'form - oh and by the way my best lap time at Brands Indy was a 62.5 - but thats in a 6000kg 14 litre diesel tractor unit with 950hp limited to 100mph - keep up the great work and the subs will get better

Absolutely get a lot of this from you and others. I was in a B&Q car park opposite McD's a few years back. Some youth threw their used ketchup packets out the window. I walked up to the car, picked up the source splattered packets and threw them back into the car. My comment of "oops, I think you dropped this" was rested by looks of shock/shame/surprise from the 3 lads in the car, who I suspect thought their actions wouldn't be challenged by a lone 40 something. I simply turned and went back to my car. Shortly after one of them did get out and put a bag of rubbish in the bin 20 yards away. Name ideas. "The Limit of Tolerance". My thinking is that we could all do with being a bit more tolerant of the noisy mower disturbing the a quiet morning, the MX track that's noisy when the wind's in the wrong direction, etc, etc. But there are limits and a bunch if kids in a park that think they rule the place, or someone putting up an umbrella at a concert need to learn that there are limits beyond which it is unreasonable to push. These are life lessons that these individuals would do well to learn. Keep up all that you are doing. Loving the blend of car stuff and life stuff.

Surface grinder is no use for a shimmed cam follower. The tit for grinding is recessed. Internal attachment on a cylindrical grinder with an extra facing attachment is what me babbers needs.
