Many Congratulations for thinking about Sub 4 Mts affordability level in India. Yes Sales of Sub 4mt top variant will overlap with Kushaq. But certainly improve overall Sales nos. & road presence with the addition of Sub 4 Mts model in the Portfolio. Hope they keep the same front grill & overall looks with same creases of Skoda family. So in my view They got to keep the Sub 4 Mts CSUV look like Compact Kushaq. In case if they compromise with the exterior design chances are it might look like a premium Hatch than a C-SUV. Establish premium Hatch players are Baleno, Fronx, i20, Altroz, Magnite-Kiger,.... & their price starts from ₹6 Lacs. Indian presently have very strong love for SUVs Compacts - Punch, Exter,... Sub 4 Mts - Nexon, Venue, Sonet, Brezza,..... 4.3 Mts - Creata-Seltos, Vitara-Hyryder, Kushaq-Taigun, Astor.......

Skoda Superb, Octavia and even Honda Civic have a lot of takers in India. But it is because of the roads - especially the speed breakers installed by brainless RTO across the nation, we don't see much of them on roads. Nitin Gadkari ji must take a look at such opportunities - more such sedans on roads also mean more tax gain for the government.

Bring NA engine as well, 1L TSI is gem for open road but we mostly drive in bumper to bumper traffic, local communitor will love 1.2L NA engine, or just procure 1.2L engine from Citroen.

I think government should lower the tax bracket for ckd/cbu for those companies which are operating in India with manufacturing facilities. Off course govt should cap it to certain numbers of cars per year to save local manufacturing. This will help these foreign manufacturers in their brand positioning and brand leverage.

Wish they consider 1.2ltr engine rather 1ltr engine .... 1ltr is marred with issues of balancing the AC/ power & pickup altogether at one go .... not a very peppy engines . They already have 1.2ltr that used to come in polo couple of years ago

High resale…maybe not! Tuned ones definitely fetch good value but that’s a very small space. India 2.0 cars should have better fit and finish. There are many people who appreciate how Skoda drives and feels and that’s about it. Skoda has found the right successor to Zac!

Its time to atleast swap the car indicator stick on the left with the wiper control stick on the right for Indian right hand drive system, especially for Manual variants when you usually keep one hand on the gear stick most of the time and unfortunately the same hand is required for indicator because both of them are on the left hand side.

Sub 4 mtr is not in the league for skoda vw. Boss launch diesels Still tier 2 tier3 towns prefer diesels. With existing model downsize the power 1.0tsi 1.2 tdi. With the old build quality. Thala all luxury car launch diesle for indoa specific. VW can surely launch diesel.

The new sub 4m suv will definitely cannibalize Kushaq, the only option is, by the time the new sub 4m suv is launched, Kushaq will have already been too long in the market, so launch it with bigger proportions to rival Creta. The Kushaq, no matter how much we love it, is too small. It actually looks like a sub 4m suv.
