Everyone likes the little tacker that "thinks I can" when offroad. I took my Yeti out with my boys when it was new and got it proper bogged to the floorpan, ol mate in a Defender came along, gave me a high five and towed me right out. If I had a Range Rover I reckon he wouldn't have stopped!

I've just figured out why I'm so invested in this Yeti: One of my favourite offroaders of all time is a Suzuki Jimny, but this thing has all the added benefits of being VAG! Fkin brilliant.

I purchased my yeti 2lt tdi mk1 about a year ago small SUV with ton of potential I wonder if Skoda thought about putting a low range on the 4x4 probably would have been a contender against the new so called 4x4s that cost stupid money ..I love my yeti best car I ever bought ❤❤

I am a happy Yeti 4*4 owner.. always do hard offroads in india...only the clutch is the pblm..it will heat soon..Yeti have the best 4 wheel drive haldex system in the world

Tow rope didn't snap at the end, it pulled the recovery point of the defender chassis. It was scary to watch but hopefully he is fine now. I have not seen anything about it on facebook groups ect

@@DarksideDevelopments totally, mine still strong at 270k and a lot of hard launches, but I do run an external cooler. I'd suggest mounting the external radiator up high as I fill mine with sand on the odd beach run when bulldozing the centre hump.

@@DarksideDevelopments I have a touareg from 2009, with central locking and rear locking, but it has never done a 4x4 :) when I'm in second gear and I release the gas, when it goes to downshift I hear a vibration, can it be the cardan shaft? is this failure very frequent?
