When I lived there in the 80's,there wasn't anything outside of loop 289.. When I first saw the name scoggit..I thought of the old Scoggin Dickey car dealership.

I remember the old Skoggin Dickey Car Dealership. In fact, I saw a performance by Chuck Connors the Rifleman there when I was a little boy. Lubbock has really grown since the 1980's. Business and homes everywhere. Thanks for watching! Stay Safe & Take Care!

Hey my brother, you are right about growth. Lubbock is growing like crazy. The major growth is south of the city. What use to be cotton fields are now businesses, apartments and houses. Crazy how big cities get. Hope you and Duke are doing well! Stay Safe & Take Care!

Lubbock is a good 👍 place to live. You will find out the cost of living is better than California. Gas ⛽ here today is at $3.24 a gallon. Have yourself a safe trip. Stay Safe and Take Care!

I worked at method hospital back in the 1990s. Thank u for the drive would love to see a drive on 34th & 59th st next Lubbock sure has built up on west 19th street

I will see about doing the 34th Street drive. Lubbock now has the Marsha Sharp Freeway. I will have to do a video on that also. 19th Street is completely different than it was in the 1990's. Hope you are doing well! Stay Safe & Take Care!

There is an area where you go downhill before you get to the railroad underpass looks like the hill country. There is nothing like driving the streets of Lubbock like drinking a bottle of Dr.Pepper and eating an August pie.

I have been to the hill country and you are right. August Pies is out of business, however United Supermarkets bought the rights to the company and are now making the pies. The original business use to be on Ave. Q. Funny how companies change hands. Stay Safe & Take Care!
