One shower Idea as i don't want you to be uncomfortable while showering... have a shop bend a shower pan that goes up and slants over the wheel well 4-6" , then you have more shoulder room and stand in the 24" flat bottom.

Love the layout, where the wood stove is I think some sort of desk/table for Ember to do colouring/puzzles eat in a highchair or even to edit videos and can double as kitchen area when cooking would be useful otherwise perfect. Made it till end so hello cameraman lol 😆 💕🇬🇧

I like the tape plan layout. The bus looks so big then when the tape hits the floor and it gets real, the floor space gets used up quickly. It will be big and beautiful and carry your family on the best life ever!

Great layout. You will love having the two parallel sofas like that. And the proximity to the kitchen is ideal for family activities and conversation. I have an excellent cookie recipe for soft cookies out of a propane stove. You’ll have fun making memories in the family bus. 🚌 🎉

Hey Issac I am love your ruff layout. And the wood stove sounds great since you have that delete window right there if you wanted you could put the stove pipe right out there and do a 90 up or just take it through the roof. Our shower extends over the wheel well. The way we did it is that we built a bench over the wheel well portion. This gives us the option to sit while taking a shower if we choose. As far as the water draining properly, the bench has a slight slant that leads the water off the bench into the main shower pan, and our shower pan is sloped to the drain properly.

ISSAC, THE FLOOR PLAN LOOKS AWESOME. Even in an RV child carseats hav to be in forward facing seats ONLY. I bring this up not out of judgement but knowledge obtained from knowing someone whose child was severally injured. It is even illegal in most states to have them in a seat that is not forward facing. The plan looks great though. 💚 I didn't see or hear you talking about a jump seat for Ember.

The shower can be made extendable with a double pan with the drain in the middle with a slight angle for the water to run of, when the shower is in use. That way you also have space to put wet clothes and a drying rack. By that way you can put Embers bath in it without having it on a counter or the floor. My guesstimate is that you will get about 40 inches on the inside. I've seen and used innovations in tiny city apartments that fits busses too.

Great layout! I’ve been looking at those deletes and scratching my head … I like the idea of the cedar and I am okay with the white paint, but what about using a whitewash stain, so you get the beauty of the cedar and the light bouncing around? And Levi did a great job as the cameraman!

I get you wanting to see all 50 States in the bus, but you better plan your build with some big ass pontoons if you plan on getting that thing to Hawaii. As much as I'd like to see AK too, I hear getting into Canada is a PITA so If I do see AK, it won't be in a nomadic vehicle I build. I'll settle for the lower 48 States and if I can complete that, I'll be satisfied.

Hello Isaac. I am loving the layout!! Can't wait to see the finished product. I have been following your journey since the beginning and Jaylena i have watched even longer. You have all come a long way from meeting Jaylena and now you are a beautiful family with your daughter Ember....I just wanted to say that I have been seeing a few people putting the incinerator toilet in their home because it is so easy to use and there is nothing to throw away apart from a few ashes. I am not telling you what to do i just think that I would pay the extra to not have TO throw human excrement away and have to find a place that is legally acceptable!!!! With the incinerator toilet there is nothing to do because the the poop gets incinerated!!!! I would buy that toilet hands down every time!!!!!!....All the best from wales UK again xxx sunset xxx xxx

I’ve see other builds with a queen sized bed, I believe. I know if I were living full time in it, I would definitely want that. Could you possibly use some of the wheel well space for a bench in the shower so that it’s wider than 24 inches. If not , then maybe switch the shower up to the front of the bus to get you more space. Where is the pantry or dry storage going to be?

Isaac for Ember's bed you should look at Number Juan Bus build. They used a wheel well for her area. The cool part was that it was designed to be easily changed over time for the first 3 yrs as she got bigger. It was a good layout.

Loving the layout! I got ideas thou...lol 1. Have you seen white washed cedar as opposed to solid paint? You could do some test pieces. It should give the wood more depth and interest. 2. Ember is going to be crawling and reaching soon. Safety covers for knobs, outlets, etc, just a thought. 3. For Embers bed removable rails on the front side, also something to think about. 4. The step / entry way at the front..maybe a gate or something to block her when she is crawling around. Wonder if you could build in a retractable mesh gate or something. Just some thoughts. Peace ✌

This is a good sensible layout to start with. Yes I know how possibilities can hit as you are building like "wouldn't it be better if..." I think maybe a curtain across Ember's doorway so she has her privacy but isn't exactly "shut away" and also allowing better air flow.

I don't know if I'm using the right words, but you could make a drain hole in the back of the seat that leads to a pipe, that leads the water back to the main shower area.

Just build it at an angle to level it out same as the floor.. shim it up on one end to angle it where ever you want, your the sculpter... mold it into what you want

If I understand car seats correctly, they are designed for primary impacts to be front/back not side to side. Might want to research that before you totally finalize the couch/ seat belt arrangements for your lady and your little girl. I'm excited about this build!
