Over the years, a viral video of a Star Wars Routine Beat Juggle been passed around and find it funny when shared to me because we were actually in that battle.. So instead of repeatedly retelling the story.... here is a quick edit.
This is the Platter Pirates on a trip from Chicago to Ohio to the 2001 Skribble Jam DJ Battle with Pirate Bam, DJ Kico and Spryte 1. Just some behind the scenes and pre and post footage of the trip and battle. Full footage and all past DJ battles and trips featured in a Cable Show launching next year. This is just a taste of footage I have stored away. :)

Old school camcorder footage, man I wish I was old enough to be a part of this era, the indie boom was still at its height, underground culture was thriving and contrasting with hyper-commercialized shit, vinyl still mattered and people went crazy for skilled tablists. Bastid's routine has over 9 mill views on his channel for a reason.
