I listened to Skrillex/Sonny Moore, that was in my emo days (Escape the Fate, Black Veil Brides...) , Skrillex was still the frontman on "From first to last". Back when Skrillex was starting to become famous he had such a huge impact on the scene. Suddenly you heard his sounds everywhere and everyone started to adapt his sounds. He's one of the main reasons why today's mainstream edm sounds the way it sounds. I'm not the biggest fan anymore, but to say Skrillex sucks or didn't do anything for the scene is like saying Metallica didn't do anything for metal. People's opinions of Skrillex are mixed, but one day he will be a legend if he isn't already, and the reason many newcomers start making music
