Hey Steven I hope it’s okay if I call you that can you please make a video about how to make blades for those lightsabers and a way to put blades in the hilt and take them out of the hilt and I was thinking that you could make grooves like on a screw on the inside of the lightsaber and on the part of the blade that goes in the hilt

@@alexandergames6 I never meant for these to have blades they are just displays. If you wanted to add blades check out my friend bill's video where he made a lightsaber kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5-WeI2Gh6lpmtE

Some great advanced tips here! I never thought of doing the stacked pieces like you did, gluing them together with a tiny bit of superglue so they could be shaped to an identical size. Very smart, I thought that kind of precision was only possible with a laser cutter. You continue to amaze!

Love your products and your projects! I for one hate tracing and for years I’ve been using a technique that I use for woodworking to transfer templates. This technique doesn’t work for all projects but is useful for many. I print out my templates with an office printer and use acetone to rub the template onto the foam. I use this technique on wood for cutting and wood burning designs. You just need to be mindful of mirroring designs where it’s call for. You can get a simple monochrome laser printer for about $100 or less. A good investment for people that hate tracing and like precision.

One other thing I was wondering about - if I can’t get my hands on HD foam for the detail pieces (sizes < 10 mm), would EVA foam work as well, or are these two foam materials very different to work with or in overall quality?
