As an EU fan, I'm glad G2 won, I'm also glad that we have a long thought impossible EU vs NA international Final as proof that the gap has closed. But I think this series and this MSI has shown us that while the gap has closed, Korea is still a very competitive region, and I'm glad that Faker especially is still able to impress with huge plays on the international stage, especially after last year. @@secondsnack262 You do watch IG games right? Those are the definition of Fiesta games, most kills and deaths happen in IG games. TL typically plays much slower games than what they played against IG, and a big part of how they beat them was that they managed to slow it down from what IG likes to do. And having regularly watched SKT over this split I can say that this is very close to the best I've seen them play this split. They didn't make many lackluster plays and had many incredible plays (Faker with that Gnar ult anyone?). This is the second international tournament in a row we have seen Western teams meet and beat eastern teams, and they all play with the same time limits and same format. I think we're past the point of just blaming the format.

honestly for a 5 game series this was pretty insane. so few blunders like im used to seeing. teddy tping was painful but he made up for it with an insane performance in g5. also jankos and co going over that wall into 4 people in g5 was a big yikes. hard to tell if thats on jankos or wunder not sure on the cooldowns there. regardless compare these games to NA's finals where doublelift and xmithie made it look like they were trying to make it a 3-2 series and its just a whole different level. i can only hope that TL doesnt panic and continues to do what they do best tomorrow
