Wow S1000 less than $450 is almost can catch up with the Klipsch The Sixes cost more than CAD$1100. Well done Edifier !

edifier closest to the source , klipsches crisp and trebly but clear..the edifiers are better monitors the sixes would be good speaker for general music listening. you can always eq the edies to be more hi and the 6s to tame those crisp highs,,,remember to use the TONE CONTROLS. lots of users ignore them or are afraid to use them, set them as taste.

Congratulations on 10K subs, Thank for your work. In this comparison it sounds to me the Klipsch has boosted low end, which i like even if it's more than the source track. I went back you your LSR305 comparison expecting I would still like the JBLs better but maybe you're changed my mind. 😎 A request if you would: Maybe separation and imaging soundstage could be better with the mic closer or speakers more separated just to get closer to the source image. Sixes has bigger sound stage and stronger bass. Will suit bigger room than S1000DB. Specially when speaker are further apart.

Edifier sounds more balanced to me, as Klipsch is tilted more to high frequencies.

Edifier S3000 Pro. Beter Overall range. Klipsch is recessed mids as they favor thumpy bass.

@@ericbeck6417 The sixes don't have an automatic pass. The sub just enhances the sound. On the fives, the sub actually takes the lower frequencies so the drivers can offer better more detailed sound. With the sixes, that doesn't happen.

Hi, I am looking for a pair of studio monitors for my home studio to for EDM Production. I am confused between Mackie CR3, Presonus Eris 3.5 and The Edifier R1700BT. I watched many reviews and came to the conclusion that Edifier has most balanced sound, But are they studio monitors ? Or can they be used as studio monitors ? Edifier is much more of a focused sound Klipsch is messy but haves deeper bass but it's delayed buy a few milliseconds

We have to remember the differences between the speakers. He does not have the horns far enough and youre getting a crossover point that is not good for sound. The horn is overlapping. The dynamics between the two favor klipsch in a room when placed correctly.
