The satisfye pro (v2 with the rubber) is the best thing ever for the switch. That larger right side to adjust for the button layout is the icing on the cake. Perfect for anyone who suffers aching from longer amounts of play time. Also - if you’re a playstation player as well, this feels unbelievably natural.

I hadn't thought about it that way. Being a playstation player I've always hated asymmetrical sticks but I absolutely love the feel of the satisfye grips. It really does make so much more sense to me to have the grips match the dumb layout of the sticks

On the satisfye if you got skins you can remove the silicone inserts inside the grip. This will require a bit of deconstruction but should be straight forward. I use the D brand skins and they work fine with out the silicone insert.

Hey man! I'm also contemplating on buying the satisfye grip but I don't want to give up on my silicone covers to protect the front side of my joy-cons. Now that i've read that you could fix the issue that it doesn't fit in the grip, I'm pretty much convinced to buying it :)

joey justa I used a variety of coins to use as spacers to slowly straighten out the docks clearance while it was being heated slightly with a bathroom heater on the logo side. All the electronics will be fine as long as you don’t nuke it with too much heat

Just got my Skull & Co grip case and mine came with a third set of interchangeable grips that are even larger than the "trigger" grips! I find them much more comfortable and I don't see myself ever changing them out. I love the new feel of my switch now and its still dockable for me!! Great video as always! #roadto100k

I haven't try the Satisfye grip, because I own a Skull & Co. Grip... I love my grip attaches perfectly to my switch, I love the extra protection I get on my switch, and the grips are amazing depending on the size of your hands, Me personally can't use the big grips because my hands but the smalls are perfect for me, plus it's always on my switch makes it perfect on the go.

This was very helpful video in deciding which one to get. I'm personally going with Satisfye Elite Bundle. Priced just right. The grip will make playing mobile switch feel alright with the textured grip handles it'll be like holding a controller from one of the big boy consoles. Dimensions wise how they extend the length out further from the joycons is what sets it apart from the Skull & Co grips which basically would feel like just holding the joy cons still but with a controller handle behind the joycons. It's still ever too small with the Skull & Co grip and feels just awkward. Trigger grips were pretty cool to see and if satisfye updated their design they could release one with similar variants I guess but it's fine as is. The Satisfye also has the built in stand where Skull & Bones cannot even be propped up because it blocks the thing underneath. While I personally won't use this feature much anyways -- unless I am using a bluetooth controller (8BitDo Controllers or Nintendo's own Pro Controller) -- at least it was designed to have it as a working option. Satisfye's Elite Case is better now in 2019 it's been upgraded with the same fabric of the Slim Case. That really tells me they have the customers best interest in mind when most companies wouldn't have made the upgrade and just settled for the matte black rubber plastic crap. I love that their is room inside for everything you need all the extras and even dedicated Power Bank compartment underneath. Perfect travel bag for the Switch on the go -- all your games, all your cords, everything you will need in a smallish carrying tote. #ROADTO100K I'll be checking out more of your videos now. You do a great job going over all the details. Keep it up!

At 5:01 that’s pretty much why I stopped using my Satisfye grips. They were messing up the decals on my joycon, even though they’re decals that only cover the front of the joycon. I hope the Pro version doesn’t has this problem, otherwise I’d use the Skull grip, especially since I mostly play in docked mode

I have both but I use the satisfy one because it does not cramp my hand with long use. Also feels more like a controller too. I have a skin from dbrand but it doesnt really scratch it off. The skull and co. Grip did however started scratching off the skin when you take it in and out. But both are great depending on your preference

Ordered the newer model of the skull and co grips from Amazon with the case and I love them so far. The newer models also seem to come with an extra pair of grips so 3 pairs total. I can confirm since I ended up buying one more bundle of a different color for my brother and his also came with 3 pairs of grips.

I bought the Satisfye grip first . . . I used it for like half a year? I just switched to skull and co, and honestly? I prefer the Skull and Co lol it's not as "heavy" as the satisfye grip, my wrists and my hands dont suffer at all with the latter. Maybe because my girly hands are not meaty and large. I'm not going back to Satisfye Grip . . . Well, I plan to give it to my wife since she has bigger hands.

I love my skull & co case. I was able to open the switch dock a little by stretching it a little and now the switch and case fit perfect without damaging the dock. On the go I just take my pro controller with me and leave the switch and joycons in the case. Awesome design in my eyes

im really torn on which one i wanna buy, i love these two cause they make it feel more like holding a big controller in portable mode, which is great, because im not really a fan of the joycon shape when using them as controllers (which is why i got a pro controller) or in handheld, but im unsure on which one to get the skull and co one is a full case, so its decent for protection, and can be used in docked mode, the satisfye one looks like it does the "controller" thing better than skull and co, and its easier to put on, but its not a full case and youde need to take it off for docked mode, but it doesnt cover up the bumpers and depending on the game your gonna end up playing in docked youde be taking either one off to hold the joycons in either hand anyway (and this is especially true if you dont have a pro controller and use the joycons in that controller attachment thing the switch comes with to turn them into a knock off controller)

The satisfye grip is hands down way better than the skull & co one. It’s super easy to put on and take off and feels better. This is from personal experience since I bought both. I actually really dislike the skull & co grip/case. It doesn’t fit perfectly, it messes up the shoulder buttons and it doesn’t fit the dock anyway, so no benefits. The only thing it does better is looking sweet with its interchangeable colored grips. This is actually what made me buy it in the first place, but it just doesn’t work, I haven’t used it since. I wish satisfye had some sweet neon colors too, but besides that, if you want an actual, sturdy and easily removable grip that feels good in your hands, look no further. I actually don’t even understand why people even promote the skull & co grip, it was a huge disappointment!! It’s just good at wasting your money and collecting dust. Poor design!

I couldn't agree with you more. I have both of these and the Skull was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. It doesn't angle out enough for me to the side. I got the Skull and Co after seeing so many good reviews for them but they were not the quality I thought they would be. Now I don't ever dock my switch with grips on anyways, so that's not a deal breaker, but I just expected better from the coveted product. It also did not fix the pain I got on my lower thumb when gaming more than 30 minutes. The Satisfye however, I can play for hours without issue. I have the nice fancy case that fits most everything I have.

@@DerekEklund I have a couple of friends that prefer the Skull. It pretty much comes down to hand shape and if you have any issues. I have nerve damage in my right hand which can cause pain in certain parts. When I use the Skull and Co. grip it does not resolve those issues for me. I have medium hands, not large or small. I also never have had any issues with scuffing the joy cons. I have a regular switch and the Pokemon Special edition switch both with Satisfye grips. No problems with scuffing on them so far. (crosses fingers) I also dislike most grips that cover shoulder buttons.

Personal preference is funny that way. I have the offset grip of the satisfy because I have never used the top of my thumb for the right analog stick. For me that isn't fast enough or comfortable on any controller. I use the underside of my thumbs knuckle which allows the to of my thumb to stay on or right above the buttons on the controller and doesn't cause me to have to change the angle of my hand on any controller. So the satisfy grip actually creates a problem with its design where, for me at least, there wasn't one to begin with. But everyone not only has different taste, but different hands. No one product is going to work for everyone, ever.

You can look at the Hori joy cons pro. It’s basically a pro controller cut in half. It should fit inside your dock and they only work in handheld mode. But good luck finding a case for it

As an owner of both cases, I do lean more towards the skull and co. Mostly because satisfye can't stop my sweaty palms from it getting slippery and since it doesnt lock into place you may at times find yourself pushing the switch up while playing. But I love them both equally. Skull and co is more for your lazy at home self, while satisfye is my smash or party game grip.

Satisfye Pro works with bluetooth adapter which makes the only difference for me. Skull was more comfortable but the top of the grip ripped after half a year.
