4:06 Now *that* is great acting. You can see the desperation and sadness in his eyes as he realizes that the Skullcrawler isn't going to eat him, meaning he was going to die without even managing to help his team.

@First Name Last Name Seriously, was that scene supposed to be comic relief or something? That bit is ridiculous as the monster is never once shown to actually look at it's prey and consider anything before that point, with every other person it ate them without a second thought, but suddenly it can determine what an explosive even is or that he was heroically sacrificing himself.

@@GenericProtagonist7 TBF, although it has been awhile since I last saw Kong Skull Island, the one that kills him is the Alpha SkullCrawler, right? I assume that, because its the alpha, it was probably smarter then the others. Similiar to how some predators will avoid poisonous frogs that pretty much scream "Eat me", upon seeing a human just allow itself to be eaten like that, decided that maybe it wasn't the bets idea to eat it. So it smacked him to the side just in case.

Black Rose: They look like Mosasaurs who went subterranean, possibly to survive the extinction event. If I'm not mistaken- the design also harkens back to a creature used in King Kong 1933. The one crawling up the canyon walls trying to get Jack Driscoll. Sort of an homage to the original.

Weird that the thousands of years things seems a weird match for what was said in the movie that the people used to live in fear, until the apes showed up one day. Which was a basis for a theory that the ship that is a temple was what brought them to the island, in Film Theory.

I kinda wish the skull crawlers could spit digestive acid as a projectile but that may have been too OP. I like it better that they're more of a close combat creature to directly challenge Kong's close combat abilities.

It's just a forked tongue. Triple forked sounds like it had 3x the points. Sometimes when you try to sound smarter it ends up sounding strange or setting the wrong impression

Hey man, just came back from the new Rampage movie and I gotta say it was pretty cool. I'd be awesome if you'd do a video about the creatures: George, the wolf and the crocodile sometime in the near future. Keep up the good work :)
