The history of this game is a mess. Most things don't have a sense when you see the different stories as a whole world, some characters have no place in the timeline of other characters, and since the time of the apparition of the skull girl is never established, most stories that take place in the "past" look more like a year old past making the past stories a total disaster tbh.

If I remember, she has a sort of curse that made her mouth all stitched up. So she can't really speak. Though she can speak to Leviathan without speaking since their the same person practically.

@@nigelxd3735 How about the literal guy who wrote the story Alex Ahad? Samson wasn't all peaches and cream in the original story and the amnesia was brought on by him bonding onto Filia's head. In an alternative story Samson almost pleads for Filia not to go through with wishing her memories back because she told Samson she didn't want to remember.

I only started playing Skullgirls about 2 or 3 years ago. When I discovered it was free with Xbox game pass. Even though I'm not very good at the series I instantly fell in love with it. And I was really bummed out when I checked out the comments only to discover that this isn't an actual thing. Don't get me wrong this is a wonderful fan animation and it's full of passion and care. I just really wish this was an actual series because I would definitely give it a watch! Heck I would easily binge watch it!

What’s interesting about Leviathan was he’s named after a sea monster that was referenced from the Book of Job in the Bible, and was known for destroying even the strongest of ships. And Samson was named after an Israelite from the tribe of Dan and referenced from the Book of Judges also in the Bible, known for his long hair and using his Godlike strength to fight against an army of Philistine soldiers but fell for a Philistine woman who later cut his hair and lost his strength soon after. Although the game “Skull-girls” doesn’t really has any affiliation to the Biblical affairs, the plot to the characters makes the game interesting and diverse depending on the characters’ backgrounds stories.

The real question the Skullgirls devs need to answer is wether Leviathan exits Squigly’s left side of her head or the right. It’s depicted both ways in game/art and I figure since she was shot point blank by Black Dahlia it would make sense for Leviathan to be able to switch sides.
