This ain't even the problem. Skulltaker can hit 100% chance to revive daemonic units with daemons reforged and he can restore them at full health no less too. Add on the fact that whenever skulltaker kills a lord ALL BLOODHOSTS HEAL you can basically keep them around forever fighting battles with them or not as long as skulltaker fights one battle per turn.

And he had 2 and a 5 extra army as well while i only had 1. With 2 settlements!!! While i had 4 and i was Manfred too. Yeah it was gg at that point

I feel like the no upkeep was an oversight. Since the only real challenge with skulltaker is surviving the early game thunderdome then you just paint the map with free blood hosts. Arbaal is kinda the same you teleport somewhere and suddenly you snowballed into 5-6 bloodhosts razing the entire dessert and southern coast.

If the khorne worshippers win, then khorne gets more powerful because battle means BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, while a victory means SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE, and a decisive victory means most of khornes worshipers are still alive, and the enemy will likely start questioning their life choices considering the only thing protecting them from the cultists just got wiped, and their only hope is, you guessed it, WORSHIPPING KHORNE AND JOINING HIS ARMY!
